I'm just wondering how difficult it would be to convert the oral capsule form of DHEA into a transdermal topical solution ?? Reason why I ask this is from what I gather the oral form must go through the liver twice, as the topical version goes through only once, thus enhancing it effects.
      Anyone have any suggestions ??

my first thought, is why bother

its so cheap, prob has zero effect on liver based on fact it's natural and doc give it to older folks all the time, and why go through the hassle, and get all the trandermal stuff on you

prob work great, if want to do the extra effort,

Point taken, however the concern is not that it is harsh on the liver, but that it gets broken down too far to be effective. I guess I could just take a larger dose if need be but I'm just bouncing ideas around really. Thanks Trip.
People seem to be so against the stuff do to its conversion to estrogen, however a little extra estrogen can be beneficial for lifting due to the extra water. Look at Dbol and other high androgen compounds. Now I know DHEA isnt even in the same ballpark as Dbol, but with a close eye and some AI standing by, I think a higher dose can be of good use.

I have a book on dhea and they had a couple of pages on liver damage and dhea, just looked it up

well, let's see when you give rats a human dosage equilvalent of 7,000 mg per day some get liver damage

yet the summary was, rats are not humans and rats don't have dhea, so it is a foreign object to them

the researcher said, "nil" chance of human to get liver damage due to something called peroxines

I could get more if you want it, yet, the author has done several supp books and he's a doctor, so let me know

      good luck

I was thinking more along the lines of 200 mg, not 7000 mg.

lol, i got your drift goose, just saying the book says liver damage from dhea is a non-event, nil, not gonna happen

now, of course unless you got liver problems to begin with then your caution is warranted
