TweetI workout late, sometimes finishing around 9pm. How much protein should I drink in the evening? I normally drink 60g/whey protein per shake 3x a day. Is 60g in the evening after a workout too much. It won't put on any fat will it????

TweetNo. Whey protein will be used ot secreted. Its fast absorbing and in and out of you in roughly 45 minutes to an hour. Other proteins (meat, casein, eggs, soy) if not used could convert to glucose via the Cory cycle and then if not used, obviously stores as fat, primarly in the adipose tissue. You will be fine brother... best of luck
Tweetshoot finishing at 9pm is early....i get out of the gym around 10:30-11:00pm, and i drink whey protein with glutamine and flax oil in it....

TweetNot with that flax you're adding. Avoid the flax post workout. Flax and other oils will slow the digestion of protein (whey), defeating the purpose of consuming a fast acting protein.
Tweetyellowjacket is the man
Tweetand dont mix the protein shake with milk. do water as milk will slow down the absorbption
