UPDATE : It's now a $1,200 to $2,100 fine if they even catch you "joy riding", and citizens are encouraged to call a hotline if they observe anyone in non compliance with the shelter in place order by Gov. Kate Brown.

eh, i cant wait to see all the law suits that are going to follow this bull shit. gov presidents nor le can pass laws or enforce them without the legislature voting to approve them. not to mention our bill of rights etc.... the aclu and law offices are going to have a field day on these state and local governments doing this shit. i still cant wrap my head around how le is enforcing civil matters either. these are civil matters and last time i checked the law doesnt enforce civil actions other than serving papers. so are these fools willing to take all of these non compliant people to court in order to pull in all these fines? unconstitutional across the board
