Tweet60g whey mixed into
1/4-1/2 cup of cream of rice
2tbl spn either natty pb or almond butter
great sustained energy with no issues of it sitting in the gut
TweetFor those of you that get up first thing in the morning and hit the gym, what do you find is your ideal preworkout meal (if any) that gives you sufficient energy, but doesn’t make you feel sluggish.

Tweeti like the pudding consistency with mine. i have super sensitive guts and i have zero issues. you can also cut the protein down to 30-40g if you dont need as much

Tweet2 tbsp natural peanut butter. 2 cups oats, 2 scoops of whey
Tweetthe cream of rice is even slower digesting than the oats man and it doesnt sit in your guts heavy at all like the oats do. that and if you have a tendency to have to take 2-3 dumps after all the fiber from the oats. it doesnt do that at all either. they are both really good options though

TweetI'm going to give the cream of rice a try. I usually do oats in the morning too, but you're right on about the couple dumps after.
TweetI am gonna give it a try. Thanks Guns
TweetI just do not eat until lunch. I know a lot of guys HAVE to at least get a PWO shake but I do not and have not seen any decrease in muscle mass although that is really not why I train.
TweetI've been having oatmeal with coconut milk, cinnamon, and honey, with some kind of fruit... every morning, blah.
