Tweetvery cool
TweetSame here
TweetHow do you add avo and avoid the pudding texture it ads to the smoothie? Or can you avoid this...
TweetI throw a half right in there and I love the texture it makes it. Smooth, creamy and thick and the thicker my shake is, the more satiating it is

Tweettouche!!!!!!!!!!!!! i tried it in the food processor, i took a spoonful to taste. it is terrible, very bitter! so I put the rest in a tupperware and this morning when I woke to put it in my smoothie it was all nasty and brown. I guess the pit oxidizes like the flesh. so use it quick if you try it.
lots of good info on it. a little negative. I will not do it again.
Avocado Pits: Avocado pits are mildly toxic, though not generally dangerous when consumed in small amounts. Some people grind up and eat the pit, which contains soluble fiber. However, there is no reason to go out of your way to consume avocado pit for soluble fiber since most of the ingredients in green smoothies already contain fiber.
TweetI did not try it and can imagine it wouldn't enhance the taste. I do like my avocado in my shake though
