TweetTough question. Both can cause some serious problems depending on the individual. Pot ruined my high school years because thats all I wanted to do. Skip school and get high with girls. On the other hand I saw some use pot every once and a while with no problem. Same thing applies to alcohol. I will tell you this though I have never been to a AA meeting or an NA meeting where someones life was upside down because of pot use alone. It may have been a gateway drug (and it can be) but lets face it, a few puffs here in a responsible manner, should be fine. I guess what I'm getting at in this long winded post is its the individual who decides which is worse. I have seen more ruined lives over alcohol and harsher drugs than pot however.

Tweetboth are bad but I have never met a violent pot head. addiction sucks either way but personally booze is worse IMO. thank God my days have ended for use of either for the most part. nothing good ever comes of drinking for me so just don't partake much anymore..

School sucked ! waaaay too much drama and bulls#it for me. I've been puffin' since I was thirteen and the only trouble I got into was skipping school with my dog and playing in the woods. Alcohol on the other hand different story, getting sick and hungover and jus doing dumbs#it more so often back then. sure it makes ya a lil lazy depending on who you are but I'd say I'm pretty accomplished so far. It helps me deal with my medical condition bigtime too, I have HIV. the drugs that I'm on are nasty especially the Sustiva (Efaivirenze), it's literally like dropping acid everyday. a force multiplier of your emotions, in a bad way. not like to the public but if your sad or something it can be really bad if you don't have control over it. I'm able to think and focus, keep from being sick to my stomach...I dunno I love it and I'm all for it..cept being legal for just anybody. I don't think kids should smoke it or any body driving for example. Do we need to feed everybody an ultra super priced pill for every damn thing ?

TweetI actually think both have their evil side....I work in prevention and I have seen so much evidence stating marijuana's harm to the developing brain. That being said, it also can seriously impair motor skills for up to 24 hours after ingestion by an adult even....the concentrated forms now of THC are scary: where marijuana used to be 1-4% THC, you are now seeing THC oils measuring in the 90% range. That can cause psychosis....

And alcohol in moderation is ok but it is one of the only substances that can actually kill you during the withdrawal phase (xanax being another).....

I don't think they are awful and no one can partake in them! My girlfriend drinks and loves it lol... I just think people need to be more educated and realize that there are consequences with their use

TweetIts an interesting topic for sure and one that is in the news now everyday.
It is a fact that alcohol is responsible for a large amount of child abuse, domestic violence, murder, suicide, etc etc. If a drug was banned purely for its negative effect on society, alcohol would be it, hands down.
What I dont understand is people who are adamantly against marijuana but think nothing of getting blitzed at the sports bar on the way home from work and driving home.
Pot is legal here and it doesnt seem to have caused any new problems but it has drawn hordes of low lifes from other states.That in itself is a problem. I wish they would legalize pot in the states around us so people would stop moving here. lol

TweetI used to smoke heavy trees in highschool and did also drink. I dont smoke anymore, MAYBE the occasional 2 or 3 pulls but I cant, it gets me hella paranoid !!!
I used to drink ALOT, and i drink the occasional beer now and then. Sometimes tho Ill drink a 6 pack everyday, but thtas when I dont train or when I feel sick. But I believe U can do both in moderation, its when the moderation doesnt work and the smoke or alcohol take over thats the problem !!!

Tweetdepende what you mean by worse. Worse for what? I used to watch that intervention show all the time and the absolute worst ones were the deep deep alcoholics. Pot addiction pretty much leads to absolute non productivity and they are finding out that it can indeed cause brain "damage" and increase risks of psychosis and schizophrenia in predisposed people. I smoked a shit load of weed before the military and I honeslty do feel like it's caught up to me a bit.... Can't prove it but I def don't feel as sharp as I used to. I would say alcohol is worse for overall chance of catastrophe but in terms of people drink regularly/ socially vs. Social potheads... I would say weed.

TweetI think everyone is different and everything affects everyone different I started smoking pot around 10 and grew it with my mother who is still a stoner. I grew up in a different place all together, very small but beautiful with nice Sandy beaches. I have never seen pot ruin a life although I can't smoke it now without getting messed but I haven't smoked it regularly in years. It has done some amazing g things I watched a man look dead literally in hospital dying of cancer, when they started to administer hash oil into his stomach through a tube the only way to feed him he made a major recovery and is now cancer free at home living a normal life with his family. It definitely can be a gateway drug to some degree. I have an old friend who's mom blames pot for his schizophrenia but I would imagine there is alot more to it than that... my mom is the hardest worker I know and like I said she's a stoner but again everyone reacts different just like aas or a any drug food etc. She is far from rich but grows all her own food veggies; fruits and animals (and weed lol) I could not count t how many meals I have eaten all grown by her minus some butter or salt pepper. Everyone has choices, I can see how it could affect people's mind but again make your choices wisely as some ppl don't have sides to tren and some can't use it at all... Marijuana is not a part of my life but I truly believe it has many helpful purposes and very few damaging. It's all about choices your choices and your lifestyle... U wanna be a ganster be one u want to be a relaxed stoner and not hurt others doing it that is all your own choice...

Kinda all over the place but all in all I think a lot of people have a worse outlook on it than it actually should just like aas,,, but painkillers and booze are all good??? Right???

TweetI like to have a beer , I do sometimes drink a few too many but that's on occasion , don't like the fucked up feeling I get the morning after . But a cold beer here and there or when I take my fiancé to dinner , I think it's cool . Trees are good , shit I may have a smoke but SUPER rare .
But like I said if ur training , keep that shit to a minimum !!!

TweetOne or two beers/drinks I've always heard is good for your kidneys. But only once in a while, not 3 beers not 6 beers. Smoking anything is bad for you, your lungs arent made to inhale smoke. All plants have tiny amounts of mold on them from growing outside, so tobacco/weed you are smoking mold and other things along with it.

I will have a couple beers on a special occasion. But other than that nothing like that interests me anymore.
