      Family history of heart disease, however, I dont have it.
      Arteries are totally clean.
      HDL is 26 and ldl is 54
      My cholesterol levels are under the human normal ranges.
      I only really eat baked chicken and oatmeal. Some rice, fish once in a while....some salad.
      Ice cream cheat.

      I felt fine but who knows. I was on a ton of gear so Signs may have been masked.
      I had been on a DC training kick for about a year.
      Your supposed to do 12 weeks on 12 off....I did 12 months on lol.
      Nervous system was likely severely taxed and maybe my heart just couldnt take the stress anymore.
      Cardiac arrest is very common with hard training athletes of many diciplines.
      Soccer for example and running. TONS of cardiac arrests comparatively.

      yeah man that is crazy. i have had some chest pain issues in the past and i am in my early 30s. i went in and got checked out and they told me that mine was due to indigestion and really bad gas. i was like for real even with it shooting down my arms and hurting to take a deep breath. docs said yep you are good you just got some bad guts.

      on another note, one of the old guys that trained at my gym dropped dead from a massive heart attack in his early 60s. the dude was in crazy cardio shape. he ran marathons spin classes 2x ed, ran the whole 9 yards. he just feel off the spin bike one day and it was over.

      Yah.....My friends sister had an anurism 3 weeks ago and died 2 hours later.
      She was 13. No known cause.

      At any rate...
      Im up 9lbs since I changed my diet 10 days or so ago. Looks like I have lost a little BF%

      Chest and tris tonight.
      Keeping in mind my right shoulder is blown out ...
      90lbs DB press- was 130s
      235 incline for 15 ..was 315-365....sad
      Cables for I dont know I just added weight till it felt heavy.

      Cant do dips..my shoulder wont hold my bodyweight....

      Cable with cambered bar press down....stack for 3 sets of 20
      Ropes 150 for 3 sets of 15
      Kick backs with 35s

      Slow calf raise cardio...10 min

      Shoulders and legs tonight.
      My right shoulder is totally shot. Couldnt go above 35lbs for laterals. SUPER uncomfortable. Im gonna keep at it though and hope it heals. Its better than it was at first so...maybe with time.
      I have an HGH script so maybe Il run some light HGH to help healing....Im not thinking its a great idea for my heart though.

      Legs felt great. NO loss of strength there which is amazing. Extensions and curls with the stack
      Hacks
      Squats
      Stiff deads

      Slow calf walk for 10 on the stairs.

      Up about 10lbs....still dont look like myself. Almost posted pics but they are so sad......

      Brundel, I know it is easy to look at where we have been and feel that where we are is sad. But I want you to go back and look at the picture of you in the hospital, tubes and shit everywhere, hooked up to machines after your cardiac arrest. I'd say the fact that you are alive is a miracle. But being back in the gym already is amazing. Forget the past, it's over and done. Build your body to be the best you can be now, not where you were before.

      Can't bench 365 now? Who cares! Side laterals with 35's? Who cares! The fact that you are alive and making such a huge contribution to our community by keeping us healthy with your BLR products, you're training and showing that you can overcome even such a horrendous event such as you had, well who cares about that? WE all do, each and everyone of us.

      We have chatted a lot over the past year, I have to say that I will take just having my buddy Brundel around to chat as a gift. I don't care if you ever pick up a weight again, you'll always be a bodybuilder in my eyes.

      I love you my friend, you have made a huge difference in my life and I appreciate that so much. Ive got your back 100%, never worry about that. You do the best you can now and I will say that it's pretty damn incredible that you can.

      Your words have inspired me more than once. Im gonna keep moving forward.....Its weird. People at the gym last night that used to see me every day...Its like they were not sure it was me. Its depressing.
      Im going to give it 100% and never give up. I dont know where itll end but I look at it like this. I trained hard and heavy for years and years to get where I was and the journey was awesome.
      I guess I just start over. Gains will come slower but Ill gain some again. Im gonna go on a hardgainer ecto diet and training program. Unassisted Im going to need to make adjustments.
      The tinkering and alterations I enjoy anyways.....
      I already gained 10lbs so I guess Im happy.

      How is the Hernia? Feeling any better?
      Mine is not hurting so Im gonna ignore it .......

      I know you can gain up to 225 without. It's going to take time and eating a lot of clean food. Your body will become more anabolic. Make sure and kill those legs.

      THanks Baby1. My cat is named Baby1 lol. Shes awesome.

      Im fat now. Well for me I am. I was under 7%bf all the time before...now its like a sloppy 11% or something.
      Im gonna shift into another gear this week.
      1 Bodypart per day. I cant take the 2 bodypart per day training anymore because IM already getting stronger. I trained shoulders then legs the other night and it worked me.
      If I just did the one Id be fine so....back to 1 BP per day. Im not going to worry about how much or what I train per week. My body doesnt know what a week is. It only knows how stressed it is and if its rested enough for the smount of training I perform.
      Im gonna take more days off and just push forward.

      Back tonight.

      Apparently gaining the weight isnt gonna be the issue......Im gaining too fast.
      So IM gonna have to start a strict diet.
      Bought a nice new food scale and some tupperwear.
      Gonna start pre prepping my daily meals.
      GOnna cut out the ice cream shakes every night. I started these to keep on weight when I was down. Now Its really packin on the lbs.
      up to 203lbs but puffier than I want.
      I was normally no more than 7%bf year round. Now Im probably 10-12. I dunno. I can see abs and veins in my arms and legs but Im just too soft for me so...
      Gaining will likely be slower but at least I wont be a fatass.

      Pathetic? I doubt that, you are just being critical on yourself because you have very high standards. But again, look at what you are overcoming. Man Bro, most people would just sit on the couch and give up, but you are a fighter and an inspiration.

      I'm sitting here thinking man I want to get back to the gym after my surgery, and then it dawns on me, if Brundel can get back after what he went through then why the hell am I sitting here. You inspire me Brother, every day. You have my respect 100%, just remember, one day at a time.

      Today 2 people at the gym said I look like Im growing again.....

      I normally take pics a few times a week to assess progress and weakness.
      Well I stopped because the pictures depressed me but......I have one from before I started training again.
      2 meals a day.
      bf% pretty high.
      Skinny fat.

      And one from yesterday. Non training day so I wasnt pumped up but at least you can see Im making progress. I still look terrible but Im gaining size and losing bodyfat and IM natural.
      I trained shoulders tonight and while IM weaker my injured shoulder is beginning to be able to take some weight. I went up to 35lbs DB on laterals and forwards with a 60lb DB. (single DB for both arms)

      Here it is.
