TweetIts a good read. I've watched a couple documentaries recently (Forks over Knives, Fat Sick & Nearly Dead) and decided to incorporate a lot more veggies. I'm still eating plenty of chicken, steak, fish & egg whites for my protein requirements but a little WPI in a blended veggie/fruit shake does very well too. Energy levels have spiked and after 2 weeks I hardly reach for the coffee or diet soda. Aside from WPI and cheese on occasion, I've dropped dairy. Do eggs qualify as dairy?
Now I don't have a juicer, but a blender works just fine for me; pulp & all, however, I do peel a lot of my produce. Had to experiment quite a bit to get a palatable consistency and I got a couple drinks that work.
As for America going vegan, not likely, but a little incorporation has made a significant impact on me recently. As for John/Jane Q. Public, the same idea may prove beneficial without adopting an extreme lifestyle change. My 2 cents anyhow....
