Tweeta couple more pics
TweetHere are a few pics from my first show I did at Eastern Illinois University. This show was just a taste of what a real show is like but I thought I would do it anyway just incase I consider doing another one in the future. Any advice on what I should work on would be great! I was at 155 lb. 4 or 5% bf for the show and I cut down from 200-210ish and 18% bf.

TweetHere is a pic of me a exactly one year ago after I got out of shape after a knee injury on my 2006 spring break. Also an after shot on what i looked like this year for spring break. I didn't land a threesome a year ago like I did this year for some reason.
TweetGreat job on cutting down from what you were!
How tall are you? Looks like you are over 5' 10'' in the pictures. If so...definitely put on plenty of good solid weight before your next show and don't diet and cardio it all away.

Tweet5'11" at 155 - Did I read that right?
If so, it's not a big deal but take a couple of years off from competing and work on putting some more size on.
At 5'11" you're at a disagdvantage anyway - I'm the same height and that is tall for most competing BB's
When you're adding the size make sure it's quality size - sure you'll gain a bit of fat but don't let it go too far like the before pics.
Other than that I think you have a good base and you dialed in for the show well.
Good job -
Sal
TweetI figured that 5'11'' was close...lol. Again congrats on completely changing your physique.... You looked great.
When you are that tall and want to compete seriously you are going to have to take Sal's advice and take a couple of years off to put on MASS. Most judges I know and have talked to refer to guys that are over 5'09'' and in the lightweight class as looking "storky" because of their longer limbs and longer muscles.
I am 5'06'' and used to compete in the lightweight class myself. So I have stood next to "Storky" guys and beat the pants off of 'em. I have some pics up somewhere here I think.
Now when you want to start putting more size onto your big frame you are at the right place to learn how to do it correctly as far as training, diet and supps. Nice to have you here and stick around. Let us know what your plans are!

Tweetdamn bro...from ur one year ago pic to now is awsome...great job buddy...keep it up....
TweetThanks for the advice and the compliments, yeah that was me a year ago. I'll see if i can dig up another pic of me from last year but I probably don't have to many for good reason! I am back up to about 175 now two weeks after my show but i still look pretty cut and vascular. I wanted to get down to the lightweight class because I had a much better shot at winning but I didn't. I talked to one of the judges and he said I would of won if I would of worked on my breathing and my poses a little more. Plus he said I needed to put more mass on my chest and legs to get better proportion. Not bad for my first show though. I was on a very strict diet which was about three months to lose the 55 pounds. I am gonna try to put on some lean mass and do another show. I can see how these things can get addicting. Getting on stage with nothing but a banana hammock on is good motivation to get in shape!
