Tweeti am just coming out of a injury that happened almost 2 weeks ago where i heard and felt a crunch come from my upper back centrally located when finishing for 1 more rep on a shoulder press exercise. i feared that it may be a herniated disk, however reading up on the signs it seems typical that a weekend grip or pain shooting down the back of your leg is an indicator of one, which neither i experienced.
basically i felt like i got in a car accident the next day with horrible whiplash, couldnt look left, right, up or down. now i can look around just fine, occasionally feel a minor tug in my traps. the thing i have noticed is that i had maybe one knot on either side of my back before the incident, and now i have like a dozen all over, but mainly underneath and/or just alongside my shoulder blades.
anyone have any suggestions on what this could be, and/or how to best git rid of knots? ive been using the edge of walls, and my girlfriend quite a bit, even using foam roller, but there still there.
i was thinking about going back to the gym on friday and hitting arms, thoughts on this one anyone?
Tweeti know a guy who had something like this and it was a ripped muscle and and had lood and fluid pockets, may need to go to the dr. better safe than sorry
