TweetThe OTC meds are a lot of the problem. Allegra isn't covered because Clartin can be bought OTC. The dose is much lower in the OTC Clartin than the Allegra. I can get away with OTC during the winter and summer months... but spring and fall my allergies are much worse, so I need something stronger. I try to stick with OTC when it's not prime allergy season.
I've asked for generic for the EstraTest and it's the same price as the brand, because neither one are on the insurance company's preferred list. Go figure
