    If our prisions were like this I bet we wouldnt have a revolving door in our prision system

      Ya the problem is how many of those guys are there for trumphed up charges? In countries like this for every person that deserves to be there, there are 3 that don't deserve it. Russia was famous for its gulags (in Siberia) where literally millions of people went to eventually die for things that we would not see as wrong (freedom of speech as an example). In their system a rapist and a writer get the same harsh punishment.

            dude, even a cop wouldn't dare talk **** about what the kgb does/did to citizens the krelmin wants/wanted to shut up for speaking out. hell even the US has ways of putting away people who the gov't wants put away.

              that is sadistic. i can see treating an unruley prisoner like that but those guys looked very submissive.

              now for child molestors i think that they should get daily beatings

                    Boys, believe me. Prison beatings is nothing new in Russia. Every Russian prison does that. Many European countries also do this. This will teach you a very good lesson never to kill, steal, rape or do anything stupid again.

                          Yeah, if that's how all prisons were, people would think twice before doing stupid ****. Well, let me take that back, if that's how all prisons for murders, rapists, child molestors, armed robbers and any other violent crimes that would make them think twice. That's where the time is every bit as bad as the crime and worse. But here, it's too dang soft in prison and they have too many rights.
                          I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.
