          While I am sure the man is very strong, how much can he really lift without all the crap he's wearing...That to me is a TRUE lift...Not with assistance...

            Without a bench shirt, Ryan has done 405 for 20+reps, and over 600 for reps. To be strong in a shirt, you gotta be strong period.

              I saw his video where he benched 600 tiwce...The guy is strong, no question there...Just IMO, I would rather see a strong man comp who lift raw weights.

                I really dig watchin both. The freaky weights the guys who wear gear do is just crazy. You'd be shocked at how much more dialed in your technique has to be and how much time and effort goes into it. Scot Mendelson is deff. the man to beat right now as far as raw benchin goes with 715. I think my boy Jeremy Hoornstras gonna be hittin that soon at a much lighter bodyweight. He's already done 650 raw @ 242.

                  True...I've always loved strength over size...I also train this way...You wonder what kind of chems are in them
