A massive upset rocked the Ultimate Fighter 24 competition a week ago, as No. 15 seed Eric Shelton pulled off a submission win over No. 2 seed Yoni Sherbatov, showing once again that rankings don't mean anything once the fighters step inside the Octagon together. Shelton showed supreme confidence in the lead up to the fight and it paid off as he hurt Sherbatov several times on the feet before wrapping up the rear naked choke in the second round. Re: The Ultimate Fighter 24: Ep. 5 Preview

Had zero interest in watching this season. getting pretty ridiculous. the two coaches are coaching the same weight competitors as themselves to fight the organization's champion. and the coaches will fight to face the winner of the season's winner vs the champ. is there any reason for the coaches to make sure the best fighter wins? if they do and the fighter wins and the winning coach takes the belt its gotta feel hollow since they didn't beat the pound for pound best in the game. they've both lost to the current champ so the argument could be made that they need to find someone to knock him off the pedestal for them to have a shot at the belt but it's pretty lame to have a reality show winner fight for the title in their first ufc appearance. even lesnar fought Mir before getting a chance at the strap. turning more and more into a wwe bullshit production everyday. now you got the soap opera of aldo saying he wants to sue to get out of his contract for dana going back on his word to strip conor McDildo of the belt unless he defended it next fight out, only to say he can keep the belt as he fights for another division's title. its a fucking circus now where the inmates run the asylum. it's disgusting
