Welterweight Demian Maia vs. Carlos Condit WOW! two top guys, condit with great striking and movement and maia with really goodstriking but the best BJJ in MMA arguably. Condit is a monster on the ground too but maia is on another level. this will be GOOD!

Featherweight Anthony Pettis vs. Charles Oliveira pettis needs this, he lost 3 in a row. olivera is 5-1 in his last 6. folks have figured out pettis, can he change it up and get the win against a really tough guy?

Women's Strawweight Paige VanZant vs. Bec Rawlings girl fight, both gals bring it, i think vanzant will win, she is hungry after her loss to to rose.

I think whoever wins in the Condit/Maia is a non factor in the welterweight title chase. Condit doesn't have the killer instinct and power he used to and Maia has great jujitsu but I don't think he can take Woodley down. Like to see Pettis back in the hunt but we'll see.
I'm hoping like hell just because they're giving PVZ a gimme fight after Rose destroyed her that Bec does the same to her and sends her to Hollywood for her next career. She is the golden girl after a few non competitive competitors faced her before she faced a ranked competitor in Thug Rose and got exposed. Hoping for a repeat ass beating at the hands of Bec.

i think condit does have the killer instinct, his fights are wars. personally I think he is too small for 170 and should fight lighter but he is a tweener really his ideal weigh would be 160-165. lawler dwarfed him. he is dangerous for any fighter in the 170

I keep going back to his fight with Nick Diaz as well as the Lawler fight versus his utter annihilation of Dan Hardy. If he fought that way all the time he's unstoppable but dancing around dragging the fight to decision he's mediocre at best.

I keep going back to his fight with Nick Diaz as well as the Lawler fight versus his utter annihilation of Dan Hardy. If he fought that way all the time he's unstoppable but dancing around dragging the fight to decision he's mediocre at best.

again he is the smaller fighter. he has been in wars and came out on the back end. if he hurts a guy he will attempt to smash them. he is fighting stick and move and trying to reduce damage taken. it may not be the robbie lawler stand and throw hammers but he is not that guy, he does not have that power. I like watching him due to his great technique. he is a killer mind you. just not the proto typical brawler.
