bro, tito is a huge 205. shlemenko is a small 185. it was like a whole different weight class and then some. also we are talking a junior show to UFC. the talent pool is just not there.

Are you sure the russian was 20 pounds lighter because I think he was just a few pounds lighter . The UFC has weight classes and you have to be within that weight . In the old days think of how many guys Royce Gracie beat that outweighed him by quite a bit , including Dan Severn who was 85 pounds heavier . Once this went to the ground it looked like the russian had no ground skill and was submitted so easily . He most likely beat nothing but tomato cans up until this fight . And Tito is known for being an arrogant asshole that doesn't belong in any hall of fame .

Weight classes don't mean much most guys cut upwards of 30lbs before the fight. Few guys like Frankie Edgar and the old bj penn will fight at their natural weight

shlemenko may have put on some muscle for this fight but he is still a natural 185er. tito cuts from 230+.

in the early days gracie dominated bigger guys because he knew technique they did not. now a 10# advantage is pretty big.

and yeah like I said bellator just does not have the talent pool of the UFC. not tomato cans but not top guys. Shlemenko is known as a kickboxer but has subs. Tito is just a gorilla on the ground with the H&A choke. it is a power move not a technical move like a kimura. good observations

well we saw royce get crushed by matt hughes and shammy get crushed by tito, severn got beat by lee beane, lee beane? who is he? exactly

yeah the old dinos are awesome but no longer a real threat to any top level fighter
