IMO hendricks is OWED a rematch. vacating the belt is a shit move. he might have won the fight on two blind judges cards but we all know he lost his last fight.

I think we all saw this coming. Here is a post I made in one of the threads about their fight:
I believe there will either be an immediate rematch (especially since Dana thinks he lost too) or GSP will hang them up. There was already talk that he was going to call it quits after this fight. I think that GSP can see that it's getting more and more tough to win these fights. Hendricks getting another shot could be detrimental to GSP. With GSP wanting to go out on top, he knows that time is going to have to be soon. He has starting taking some pretty bad beatings even with the wins and that is going to weigh heavy on his mind.
These are just my opinions obviously.
It's GSP's way of going out while on top and considered one of the best WW ever. He knows that Hendricks probably has his number and that will open up a game plan to the rest of the division on how to beat him. He can't chance hitting that losing spell before he leaves, so he's out. I think it's a crappy move considering the way his fight with Hendricks went and that he deserves a rematch..
