I lost. The bulletin had me at 168# i weighed in at 162 1/2# I didn't see this dude at the weigh ins and he had to be a fairly loose 185#.

Also he wore a pillow headgear while i wore the thin kind without the chin protector like everybody else.

It went really fast. dude hit hard. only stung me once. I saw stars and almost went down but got back over my feet and shuffled out to recover.

went the distance but he got the better of me.

I am the one in the black Muay Thai trunks and yellow headgear.

The announcer said when he introduced me "This must be a mistake, says this guy is 44 years old!" I wonder how many other 44 year old guys could see their abs?

It was a great experience. glad it's over.

it was 160-167# My home scale reads about 3# high I guess. we weighed in on a state athletic commission certified scale. I would have loved to come in at 170+.

I don't know why , in the fighter meeting the promoter said if a guy came in over weight he was going to have to run it off or the other camp can refuse the fight. We were never asked. of course I would have taken it anyway. the guys legs were 2X as big as mine. I don't care. I do wish I

oh, I didn't see this guy at the weigh ins... that does not mean anything. the bulletin with all the fighter stats had him at 160# and me at 168#. it was way wrong.

HAHA. they are not as defined as they look. my trunks were tight and i was bent forward so it made them look better than they are LOL.

my wife said there were some drunk 40 something "cougar" ladies screaming for fighters they thought were hot. she said they were hollering for me! (the head gear covered most my face) I didn't see anyone in the crowd. I saw my coach, my corner man, the ref and a lot of my opponent.

i can say this was an enriching experience. after training martial arts for almost a decade i can now call myself a fighter.

the gym i go to have a boxing room.on Cardo days i'll go in there to hit on the Heavys & speed bags.I'll start my timer,do 1 minute heavy bag,1 minute speed bag and 1 minute ab's rest thats 1 rep. i'll try to get 10 reps. Kicks my ass everytime!
