    Sunday, 5:30 am. McCarran Airport in Las Vegas. It still hasn’t sunk in that for the first time since 2006, there is a new middleweight champion in the UFC. That’s not melodrama, not a moment to sigh for the “good ol’ days,” just a realization that the MMA landscape has changed quite considerably since Chris Weidman’s second round knockout of Anderson Silva on Saturday night.     I just watched a video on BJ Penn news of an interview with Anderson the week prior to the fight and at the end they asked Anderson what woul be the perfect fight Saturday night and his response was "and your new MW champion Chris Weidman!" Was this a prediction to how the fight would go? This video will probably make some headlines with more exposure considering there is already a lot of talk that he threw the fight.

    Add that with the fact that he really wants to fight Roy Jones Jr to test his boxing...I'm thinking Mr.Anderson didn't exactly give 100% Saturday night....

      Silva didnt give 100% and people are saying the fight was fixed but he was screwing around and got caught.Im not a silva fan but when they fight again weidman will lose.I got $100 on silva for any takers

          There are a ton of rumors surrounding this one. It really takes away from Weidmans victory. I really like Weidman but Silva wins if he really gives it his all

              If silva wouldn't have taunted him he clearly would have won but thats what makes Silva, Silva....not taking away from Weidman though
