Nate all night. He's better than Henderson pretty much everywhere. I think if he tried to hold Nate down all night, he gets sub'd. Nate's subs are more sneaky than Nick's. He is just hard to beat man. Henderson will for sure have to try and imitate Edgar in this fight. Stick and move is how he will win...out pointing. Other than that, Nate is the man IMO

I am pulling for nate. Like already stated wether ben can control him will be determining factor. Rory man handled nate but hes alot bigger than ben. Would love to see diaz sub or speed bag henderson.

Ben leg kicks are a factor too. Definitely seen nate have some issues with hard leg kicks.

henderson has MUCH better wrestling. his control is top notch. nate does not move like edgar and will be a sitting duck for the double. Also a factor, ben can throw kicks with impunity because he is not scared of being taken down. nate is not nearly as strong as ben and even if he goes down who can hold henderson on his back?

i am going for nate but his best chance is take the GnP beating he will get in the first 2-3 rounds and out box hensderson and stuff the takedowns in the latter and try to get a TKO. henderson has great BJJ defense, he shrugs off guillotines and triangles easily (ceronne had a few DEEP chokes sunk and he pulled right out)

either way it should be a good fight. nate does not fight boring. he will have to counter punch and make them sting.

I agree about the wrestling. That's why I said pretty much. As far as strength, I think Nate has the "string bean" strength that all really skin bean pole type guys have. I mean the guys in 170 have problems with Nate. Rory or the stun gun couldn't even put him away at 170. I think Nate is much stronger than he looks. Nate doesn't need to move like Edgar because his style is totally different. He wants you to engage and then he beats you up boxing. While Henderson does have good BJJ defense....defending against Cerrone BJJ and Nate's are two different things IMO. The Diaz brothers have a much higher level BJJ than most in MMA IMO. Not saying they are the best by any means, but their level is higher than anyone Henderson has faced excpet maybe Bocek but his standup doesn't factor in.

I watched the Edgar fight again last night, and it actually made me feel even better about Nate winning. The argument against the good top control is that Nate doesn't lay there like he doesn't know what to do on the bottom. Just like his brother, he will beat you up from the bottom until you make a mistake and then you are in a submission. I think the fight will be really good, but I just don't see Henderson winning it.

tn95z i hope your right. ben is a nice guy. a great fighter and a great champ, but i want to see the guy who lives and breathes fighting win. diaz brothers in an interview on underground MMA said they forsake all other facets of their life to fight. no girlfriends, no fancy cars, no jewelry or big houses (and they can afford them) just fighting.

in roman times these guys would volunteer to be gladiators

Agreed! They definitely live and breathe mma. That's what I love about them. From what I've heard and read, they are totally different when not training for a fight. They are really cool and they say Nick does everything he can for the kids in their area. Supposedly all the attitude and talk is for fights only....I can't blame them there.
