Yushin Okami vs Buddy Roberts kind of a boring fight. roberts was doing good on the outside but he kept letting okami in for the clench and he ended up on the mat. okami mounted him 2X and finished him.
Jake Shields vs Ed Herman just like all shields fights this was a snooze fest. he held herman down to win. i played angry birds rather than watch jake dry hump herman for 15 minutes. jake "pillow hands" shields. his nick name should be the baby fuzzy bunny. he really likes to cuddle.
Cerrone vs guillard now this was a fight. started off slow. alot of respect between the two. cerrone got a taste of melvin's power and was damn near finished. melvin backed off as he didnt want to gas out. bad move. cerrone landed a shin to the top of melvin's head and stunned him. cerrone then threw a long straight right cross to his face and he was out cold.the punch was really long and was at the end of its power. but melvin was seeing stars and didnt get his hands up. he was out for a pretty long time.
henderson vs edgar. while not a barn burner it was a good technical fight. i thought edgar won 3 of 5 rounds. 2 of the 3 judges saw it for henderson. i thought edgar pushed the pace and landed the bigger shots. he put henderson down a couple of times (joe said he was not hurt but even if your stunned for 1/10th it is still a knock down when you get caught with your feet together switching stance) i still would like to see edgar drop a weight class. not because he cannot compete at 155 but because he will dominate at 145. i want aldo vs edgar
