    XFC tomorrow night!

    We are having an XFC event in my town tomorrow night and we got a couple of friends fighting too. It is going to be live on HDnet tomorrow night as well. One of my friends is on the under card, but the other is on the main card. Corey Hill will be fighting there and Nick Newell will be fighting as well. He is the amputee fighter that has been doing so well. It should be a great event and we have cage side seats! I have my DVR set to record.

    For some reason it doesn't show Corey Hill but I think it's because he got added later. He was supposed to fight the previous show but had to pull out due to injury.

      Teddy Holder (if his fight makes it to tv) and Jason Wood are the hometown guys.

        Well the show was pretty good. Not as many finishes as I expected. I was kind of pissed at the area. I mean any time we get a great show like this to come to town, no one wants to show up and support it.

        The hometown guys did GREAT!! Teddy came out with a leg kick, shot for a single, picked the guy up HIGH and power slammed him. He landed in side control, through some vicious knees to the body followed by some elbows. The guy stuck his arms up to defend and Teddy transitioned into an arm bar that finished the fight in the first round. His fight was on the under card and didn't make it to tv. But they came to him and said they wanted him to fight at another event. It sounds like he may be fighting again around June this year in Nashville.

        Jason's fight made it to tv. He fought a much more experienced fighter. He had to grind out the first round as the other guy had some pretty good wrestling. Pretty much the same in the second but Jason ended up getting the neck and tapped him with a guillotine. Big win for both guys.

        Nick Newell (the fighter with his right arm missing from almost the elbow down) is the real deal man! That guy has some heart. He got caught in a RNC two or three times and they were DEEP!!! And he only has one arm to defend. He toughed it out and got the decision. I thought the show was pretty good. We were on the 2nd row cageside so we had a great view.
