    GSP vs Diaz may be scratched!

    I read on another site that the Diaz vs GSP fight is off. I read that Condit was going to take his place. I'll just classify this as a rumor right now but the guy that posted said Dana announced it during the press conference. Add that with the fact that Diaz skipped out on both fight conferences and it would seem that it is true.

    WTF Diaz????????? I have been looking forward to this fight for a LONG time.


    With that being said, GSP will have his hands full with Condit!

      I'm not sure, Fuzo. Kos is fighting Hughes. They may end up doing the BJ and Fitch rematch??

              DIAZ IS A PUNK WITH SOME TALENT THAT HAS NO PLACE TO SHOWCASE IT...THATS WHAT DANA SAID. DANA IS RIGHT! THIS COULD HAVE BEEN MORE MONEY THAN DIAZ HAS BEEN PAID IN HIS LIFE TIME!! EVER!! AND THE SAD THING IS - HE COULD HAVE WON IT! WHAT A DUMB ASS!

                I say BJ and Kampmann. Or maybe Rory McDonald. Those would be two good fights.

                I really liked Diaz and was excited about this but if he just straight up no showed with no legitimate excuse, then I have really lost respect for him. That's ridiculous!

                  I think they should just let Diaz fight BJ. I mean Diaz f'ed up so he lost his title shot, thats punishment enough, he should still get to fight.

                  I deffinently think conduit is a better fighter than Diaz and deserves this fight more anyways. He has put up a good name for him self in the UFC and will be fun to watch.

                    First off, I am a Diaz fan. I just wanted to preface that with this:

                    I don't think Diaz should get to fight BJ. Diaz begged and begged for the big pay day and the big fight. He finally got that. He was going to get the big pay day and was going to get the title shot and had a descent shot at winning. All he had to do was spend 30 minutes promoting the fight. He didn't give an excuse; he didn't go and not talk; he just didn't even answer the phone! No, he doesn't deserve to fight BJ. It won't punish him enough. If he won, he would be right back in line for a title shot. I say they should now throw him a little below mid-level fighter and make him really earn the shot now.

                    IMO, he's lucky if he doesn't get fired. Dana already had a bone with him anyway. I understand if you don't like doing the media gigs (which everyone including Dana knew before hand) but this was "The Big Shot" and he screwed it up. Suck it up for once man!

                        So Dana says that the reason he pulled Nick from the fight is because he was afraid Nick may be a "no-show" for the PPV....REALLY??? That's the lamest excuse I have heard. I would believe him had he said that Nick got replaced because it was in his contract to do the media gigs....but that's not it. Dana said if Nick missed the Vegas promo and missed the Toronto promo, what would keep him from missing the fight? That's nuts Dana!! When has Nick ever missed a fight? Why would Nick miss the biggest payday and fight opportunity he has ever had?

                        I don't know man....this reason for replacing him sounds shady IMO. I know Nick messed up by missing these events, but the reason Dana gave for replacing him is a bit extreme
