When I listened and watched chaels sonnens interview he is right about wandy he is only 2-7 since coming back to the UFC WTF is up with that. He became a multi million $ man now and has a ton of money but its time for him to end his figting

There just haven't been very many Pride guys that have come over and done well. I don't know if it's the missing soccer kicks that they were famous for. Maybe it's the cage versus the ring. Who knows? But Wandy has put his time in with MANY fights. I agree that he should step away and just stick with his school

the level of competition continues to increase. the guys in pride had a smaller pool of fighters to contend with before MMA blew up. now training, diet and coaching have come along way.

the pride guys are also for the most part older and past their prime

i still love wanderlei, he's the man. i believe he is too preictable now that everyone has seen him fight the same way so long. i got to visit his gym and he signed a glove for me. dude is still in amazing condition. look at mike brown, lost three of four but no one is calling for him to retire. wanderlei lost a decision to chuck, got robbed against rich franklin, knocked keith jardine the **** out, go ko'd by rampage and then beat bisping and got knocked out by leben. he isn't consistently losing, its lose, win, get raped by judges, win, lose. and Chael is a *****. i thought it funny the video the ufc was shooting when they were courting texas to get sanctioned, wandy and chael were the two fighters repping the ufc. in the car, wandy says the silva/onnen fight was good and he knows you have to sell the fight talking trash but for chael to insult anderson silva's teachers, the Noguera brothers was just plain wrong and disrespectful and you don't do that to pioneers like that just to sell a fight and he shouldn't be talking shyt and disrespecting the brazilian people the way he was and sonnen just looked at the floor like he was about to cry and said you're right, sorry.

Chael took that to heart....LOL. It just fired him up more. He has talked more crap about Wandy since then. And he makes some good points about him repping Brazil when it's convenient.

But I like Wandy too. He is one of the greats.
