Two stories being reported at this point:
1) Nate is a liar and a dbag for yapping on an on about how the weight cut won't be a problem and how he feels so much better at the lighter weight. But then still showed up at 181 pounds that day - passing out by the time he got down to 175.
2) Nate got popped (AGAIN) for performance enhancing drugs - One of those drugs that all the cyclists take to keep up their training strength and endurance while staying lean

They say he was only 174 that morning, so weight wasn't the issue. PEDs maybe but you would think they would say that rather than a medical condition that he has known about. They gave him until 3pm to fix it but didn't. Weird!

This is what confuses me:
“Nate has known for probably about a month and a half, he knew the situation, it was no surprise. Everybody (including the UFC) knew. Everybody’s known, I think everybody assumed he was going to be able to qualify,” Sirb said.
“I thought he would (qualify), I really did.”
“We’ve known about it and we gave him every opportunity, the last report we got was 3 o’clock yesterday, we gave him as much leeway as we could, obviously we’ve got a live event, you’ve got to make the call. The UFC made the call when we said no he’s not going to meet it,” Sirb commented.
“We can’t say anything, this state is real tight on those types of laws, HIPPA laws are very strict. If Nate’s here, I don’t know if he’s here or not, he’s free to talk,” Sirb stated.
“I told him I felt for the kid. I really did. He knew about it, he was trying and he missed out on a big payday,” Sirb said about Marquardt.
“He needs to show us a new report, if that report comes in and it meets our requirements, it could be tomorrow and we’ll take him off. It could be 2 months, but it’s an indefinite suspension until he brings in that report we’re looking for.”

Many assumed UFC President Dana White and Pennsylvania Athletic Commission Executive Director Greg Sirb would reveal more details of Nate Marquardt’s mysterious failed medicals and release from the UFC during the UFC on Versus 4 telecast. That never materialized Sunday evening.

“Nate held back medical info about an ongoing personal problem/disease. Nate contracted Hep B. Nobody knows how he got it but, he has Hep B and Hep B is not forever, it can be shaken off in time but, everyone is different and heals at a different rate "Look up HEP B for those of you who don’t know what it is or for those of you whom may think it’s forever". He was supposed to be evaluated by the commission’s Dr’s and he was dodging them until the last minute because he’s embarrassed about his disease. Yes it was wrong but, we all thought he had shaken it. Since he decided to wait till the last minute to get cleared by the Dr’s and was dodging phone calls all the way up to 5 hours before the event is why Dana White is pissed. We hope Dana takes a second look at this and we will continue to have Nate’s back through this tuff situation. Stay tuned tomorrow afternoon to a more in depth response from Nate himself… Sorry guys and thanks. Nate is going nowhere but to the top of the MMA world….”

Well if Nate truly has Hep B I dont think by law a company can fire someone because there sick. I would sure like to read what a fighters contract reads. If Dana fired Nate because of this like ive been saying for a long time FUC-K DANAN WHITE karma is a ***** and one day Dana just might fall and trip and get stuck by a HEP-C needle that was on the ground.

I think this

would be his reason for firing him. He also refused to take the drug test from what I read...somewhere. And he has failed the test in the past. So, Dana can legally justify the firing and say it wasn't because of the Hep B.

Nate had low testosterone last year and started getting HRT. His levels were high this past week....obviously tested. He has since gotten his levels down and says his suspension will be lifted. I'm listening to it right now. He is getting pretty choked up while talking about and admitting that he messed up for not communicating with the commission
