Vitor Belfort "I have hepatitis a"; Fight with Akiyama still a go
Vitor Belfort has posted via his Twitter account that he has Hepatitis A. The fighter made the post just a few minutes ago, and asked for some prayers from his fans.
"I have hepatitis a. This thing hurt so bad I pray that God will take cate off me . Don't forget to pray for me"
Hepatitis A is a viral infection that can inflame and damage the liver. The recovery time varies from a few weeks to a few months, but with this news just now surfacing, it's unknown what effect this will have on his upcoming fight, as Belfort is scheduled to meet Yoshihiro Akiyama at UFC 133 in August.
