    GSP VS. SHIELDS

    IS THIS REALLY THE BIGGEST FIGHT FOR GSP? OR THE BIGGEST FIGHT FOR SHIELDS? GSP WILL COME PREPARED NO DOUBT...BUT, WHO IS THE PRESSURE ON?

    The pressure is always on the champion, IMO. Is this the biggest fight of his career?? I don't really think so. Of course, they always say that. His next fight will be the biggest as well.

    With that being said, I think too many people are writing Shields off as an easy victory for GSP. GSP has a HUGE advantage in the standup and cardio aspects, but on the ground it's Shield's IMO. He has some of the most aggressive MMA BJJ I have seen. He also has a background in wrestling and is training with Chael Sonnen. I think it will be more interesting that most think.

      Lets look back and see who jake sheilds really fought,he beat dan only because of dan being out of shape. If you can mount a guy for 4 rounds and still not put them away I'm sorry there is something wrong. The Kampmann fight og cmon kampmann could have won that. But look him up on wik and see who he fought not a bunch of real good top notch guys but Dan and Kamp. His best bet is to try and take gsp down. I acyulay hope sheilds wins so BJ can beat his ass,lol I just love BJ,lol

        GSP has been said to have the best ground game in the UFC for a long time now. Shields has the best ground in strikeforce. UFC > Strikeforce. GSP has him outclassed in every aspect, Ive never seen GSP in trouble on the ground since Matt Hughs put him in an armbar.

          Yeah, but you have mounted Dan Henderson...it's not like he's a pushover. GSP mounts guys (haha) for 5 rounds and doesn't finish them. Kampmann, Miller, Lawler, Daley, Condit, Okami are nothing to sneeze at. I mean they aren't top 5s or anything but they are tough. Condit will more than likely be fighting for a title soon. Okami is about to fight for a title.

          But to stay undefeated for 6 years is a hard thing to do nowadays. His game plan will for sure be to get GSP on the ground.

          I'm not saying that Shields will win....I'm just saying that too many people are writing him off as a nobody. He is tougher than that.

            When is the last time GSP finished someone on the ground? It's going on 4 years now. IMO, he has the best ground game because he is fighting smaller fighters.

              THE BEST BEATING IVE SEEN GSP DO TO ANYONE WAS WHEN HE FOUGH FITCH....HE BEAT FITCH LIKE A BIIOTCH!! THATS WAHT KIND OF FIGHTING I WANT TO SEE OUT OF GSP!~
