    Florian To Make Featherweight Debut At UFC 131
    According to MMA Live, Kenny Florian is set to make his featherweight debut against Diego Nunez at UFC 131 in Vancouver. Florian had just recently announced his plans to drop to 145lbs, and he's getting one of the divisions top guys for his debut. Diego Nunes is currently riding a 3 fight win streak with victories over former WEC champion Mike Brown, Tyler Toner, and Raphael Assuncao.

      I dont know about this. I mean Kenny is never gonna win anything in LW so i guess why not. I just think he is gonna be even more scrawny and weak than before which i dont think will help him too much. I dont see him beating any of the stronger guys in that class.

        he is a string bean at 155. is he going to be strong enough at 145?

          He could compete in the Worlds Weakest Man competition at 145 I guess? I heard he had to have a kidney and lung removed to make weight.....

            HES ONE I ALWAYS THOUGHT WAS WEAK. HE HAS NO MUSCLE TONE AS COMPARED TO OTHERS IN HIS DIVISION

            ALTHOUGH IN MMA, YOU DONT HAVE TO LOOK LIKE A BODY BUILDINER TO WIN

              amen brother. but you do have to have enough strength to compete. florian has great technique in everything but he just isn't strong

                Reading the comments and thinking a little more about this, I am wondering about this as well. I wasn't thinking about him being such a string bean already. He has great technique, but I wonder what the size will do.

                Anyone know what he usually weighs in at for 155? Does he have to cut/gain any to get there or is that his natural build?
