The legendary Randy Couture, a former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion, has called it quits after an amazing thirteen year career in the cage. Couture was on the fence in recent months about whether he would ever fight again. Tonight, it seems he has finally announced his decision via Twitter:
Thanks to everybody who's been tweeting about seeing my fights I must have missed the memo I think I'm at the end of it Yall. It's time.
It will be an active retirement for the UFC star who finished his fighting career with consecutive wins over Brandon Vera, Mark Coleman, and boxer James Toney. The Natural will try his hand at making a go of it as an action star after a successful supporting role in the Sylvester Stallone hit "The Expendables."
