JD Penn, Brother/Manager of UFC 123 “Knock Out Of The Night” recipient BJ Penn today confirmed with BJPENN.COM MMA News that Jon Fitch is next in line to face Mr. BJ Penn.

“Dana came into our locker room after the fight and offered us Jon Fitch at UFC 127. We immediately accepted the match and think it will be a good challenge and a step in the right direction for BJ”
UFC 127 is expected to take place on Feb. 27 from the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia.
Penn, who had previously fallen short in back to back matches against Frankie Edgar returned to his winning ways at last night’s UFC 123 with a 21 second Knock Out of Hall of Famer Matt Hughes. Now set to face the long time reigning number 2 welterweight in the world, Jon Fitch, a victory would certainly make a solid case for another shot at the 170 pound belt.
