    Who's next for Anderson?

    I know the winner of the Marquardt/Okami fight is supposed to get the title shot but think about this for a minute:

    Marquardt lost on his little title run, if you can call it that. What has he actually done lately??

    Okami won by decision against Nate who didn't much the entire fight. Not only is Okami hard to market, but that win wasn't that impressive.

    And now we come to Sonnen. Sonnen all but beat Anderson in their last match and then the failed test comes about. I would almost bet that if Sonnen is cleared and if Anderson gets by Vitor....Sonnen will leap frog Okami and get another shot....mark my words!

    i hope not. i wanna see okami vs winner of silva and belfort

      Me too, but just because I don't think he deserves it. He got beat out right and should have to work his way back up.


      If Okami performs anything like he did against Nate, he will get walked through by Anderson and beaten by Vitor as well. IMO, Okami looked pretty bad in that fight. Nate didn't do anything and Okami still didn't convincingly win.

        i think he won the fight, the judges got it right. but i kinda thought that the UFC figured nate was a tier above okami and would win.

          I agree that he won, no doubt. It was close but all things being considered, the decision was right. I think Nate would have won the fight had he put up any fight at all.
