i heard rumblings that brock might fight Mir again but its kinda boring at this point and Shaub basically called Mir out after beating Gonzaga so that may be the next Mir bout. Maybe a Lesnar vs Nelson pr Lesnar vs Mitrione would be a good tune up before he fights Dos Santos who i think will take the title from Velazquez.

wait a minute lets just go over what happen. Brock came out to fast he should of stood and fought with him and took his time with cain then went for the take down. Not go out like a rocket towards cain. Brock probably burnt himself out going 100mph after cain and that was it. Has brock ever come out like that befOre,NO. Also brock didnt fight smart at all. And not everyone can stop brocks takedowns. He just gassed himself. Stupid move

cain wore him out. brock went 3 with heath herring and barely broke a sweat. surely he can go one round with another guy. it wasnt the game plan it was tyhe opponent

So what, if brock beats Mir again will he get another title shot? Prob so. I think they are just trying to protect their cash cow IMHO. Dana cant risk having him lose again. I still think he has potential to be a lot better and can def regain his belt, but I mean he has been completely dominated in 2 of his 6 fights in the UFC (granted he beat Carwin but got pummeled). Getting dominated in 33% of your fights isnt real great.

From the weigh-in I could tell Lesnar looked like shit. I dont think Lesnar was in shape for the guy, wasn't prepared for what he was against. Looked as if he was drinking all night and came in clumsy and tired.

I don't know. I think he would have to dominate Mir to get a title shot that quickly...it's not like he lost a war with Cain, he got walked through.

As far as protecting him, they should have put him in there with CroCop to protect him. Mir has as good a shot as anyone at beating Brock again. Granted Brock will have a ton of confidence fighting Mir, but now that Brock has been beaten so easily, Mir will have confidence too. Who knows?
