agree. kos may be better at the sport of wrestling but wrestling for mma GSP is better. kos has more power in his strikes but GSP is much more accurate.Originally posted by Strella View Post

Uhhhh i guess or he will just kick off your head like he did Matt Hughes a while back, who some of you guys claim is still in the mix. GSPs standup is MUCH better than you guys give him credit for. Even though his last 4-5 fights have been predominantly on the ground he still won the standup portion of every one of those fightsComment

GSP has good standup. But one thing that makes his standup so effective is his takedowns. The fear of the takedown allows him score more on the feet. Take away the fear of the takedown, and his standup becomes more average. With that being said, his standup has improved quite a bit as of late.
