I know this is WAYYY out there and this is not meant bad toward Brock....but how crazy would it be if Roy (the fat guy from TUF that no one was giving a chance) made it to the title fight and SOMEHOW KO'd Brock (or whoever is champ at that time) or submitted him or something?? I bet Dana would freak out!!!! I know that there is probably no way that would happen.....but I would just have to sit back and laugh at that one.

On paper I can agree with you. Brock should win the fight with Cain. I like Roy but I want to see Dos Santos get his chance. He has really put in the time and really shown that he deserves a title shot. I really can't believe that he is having to fight Roy first but that's fine. I don't think Roy can get by JDS but anything can happen.

this has nothing to do about fedor. you said mir was at close as it gets as a top 10 guy and I showed you 2 sites that there saying he is a top 10 guy.And my whole point is brock won he beats who they out in front of him and who is in the ufc and he wins. And that doesnt seem good enough for people why is that. Its not his fault fedor or overeem isnt in the ufc to fight him or even fedor. Brock proved he can fight take a punch and win

I said Brock's plan is to get it to the ground....to get it to the ground, you have to shoot for a takedown...I thought that was pretty understandable.

And I said the same for Fedor. So, I say, when Mir beats a top 10 guy, he will be top 10. That just proved my point. You did show me 2 sites where Mir is top 10. I can also show you two sites where Fedor has been #1. Fedor is very relevant to this conversation as it shows that the sites rankings are not always what "is." You have even said that Carwin hasn't fought anybody.

You try so hard to say that I am bashing Brock and I am not. I have said multiple times now that I have respect for as a fighter now and that he has proved himself in the UFC. What more do you want? Is just because I won't kiss his butt and jump on the bandwagon with everyone else? I see holes in his game. I see holes in BJ's game and talk about them. It doesn't mean I hate BJ or I am bashing BJ does it? You can't just discredit what other people's opinions are on fighters just because they are your favorite. I have caught a ton of crap for GSP beating BJ twice but I don't let it get to me. GSP did beat his ass....what can you say?

So what I am saying is, that I respect Brock as a fighter. He has proven himself in the UFC. He did beat Carwin. He did take his shot which (not just me) but the majority of the UFC community was wondering if he could. He did submit him and he has beaten the guys the UFC has put in front of him. I am not disputing any of that. But I will say that "I" don't think his win was very impressive against Carwin. Had Carwin not gassed out and they could have really gone at it and Brock won, then that would have been impressive. I am impressed with him overall because of what he has done, but not with that individual performance. His win against Mir and Herring was MUCH more impressive than the win against Carwin.

You say that his wins haven't been good enough for "people." What do you mean? IMO, this was the only time he has been really tested. He hasn't been in any trouble, except with Randy but Randy shouldn't even have been fighting in HW, so we haven't seen what kind of fighter he really is....that is why people were still questioning him. I don't question him any more as a fighter....but that doesn't mean I will be picking him every fight.

I said it may end it early if Lesnar is shooting in for a takedown and gets caught with an uppercut. Yout can't just pick and choose what parts of my posts to use. You have to read it in it's entire context to get the point. This is why you misunderstood the majority of what I say.

wow not even with brock getting a submission huh a 280lb guy submitting someone with only a few fights under his belt.

Being himble now is a big part. Seeing him learn and now knowing that he has heart to win plays a role. I think he deserves the title because he has beaten who they tell him to beat. Do I think he has beaten a true top 10 guy? Mir was as close to top 10 as Brock has faced. No where in any of my posts did I say that Shane would win if he caught him with an uppercut. No where in any of my posts did I say that Shane was just tapping Brock. I don't think anyone is underestimating Brock at all....as a matter of fact, I said in one of the pre-fight posts that I could see the fight going either way. I am sure that no one "likes" getting hit. But some can take it and some can't. Look at Leben for example, that guy gets hit with freaking sledge hammers and just keeps moving forward and actually gets stronger. Brock will never react like that. Fighters will always react the same when they get hit. It's just part of their personality. I think that Brock will always react like that when he gets hit.

About the submission, I am really not that impressed. I mean it's cool to see that he is learning some BJJ and that he recognized the opportunity to lock it in, but let's face it....Carwin was not going to defend it no matter what.

You said if shane catches brock with a uppercut he will lose well he did and brock still won. You seem to think that he doesnt deserve the title or something with your answers in your posts. some posts there seems to be negativity on something about him.Its funny now you say shane was just tapping brock when shane himself said he was giving out a beating which he was and brock took it and still won. You and others never would of guessed brock would of won with a submission.. I think everyone is underestimating brock now. Well, he only caught a couple of good ones and he didn't like it. As far as him hitting his chin on the cage, it was hitting like BJ does...he was just tapping it. It will get tested again with Cain.

I don't find him any more impressive...but I do have more respect for him as a fighter now.

Before this nobody knew if Brock could "take a punch" ...or at least thats what everyone was saying.
Well after about a million freight-train loaded punches to the face he still choked Carwins ass out! Then he goes and jumps on the cage and starts punching himself in the chin lol and is smiling and laughing!!! Thats is one scary crazy monster LOL and Cain is SO SCREWED!!!

Different fight... Cain doesnt have the size and strength to keep Lesnar on the ground.. Brock wins this fight with ease he will take him down at will and pound him until he goes to sleep
