Read this on one of the mma sites someone posted and this fits to a tee. Heart of a Champion never surrendered Brock is a true champion. Every fight he has got better and not just better but incredibly better and will get better in his next fight.When I read all this stuff on all these sites everyone knowing that brock is a gifted athlete so why count him out. Man everyone counted him out because carwin was 12-0 and had power well brock has power also and has better cardio and had a better chin and over came the beating.His life threatening illness made him a better person and like I said he was in the best shape of his life and when the docs said he was only fighting at 60% wow and last night all 100%.

I also didn't have him counted out. I thought it could easily go either way, I just really thought Carwin would put it on him in the first.
I am pretty sure that Brock's considered a legitimate fighter now. He has been tested in all areas and passed.
I think the illness really did humble him. His interviews are not stupid like they used to be.
