  • Cain Velasquez is next!

I was listening to ESPN radio yesterday and they had Dana on for an interview. He says that Cain gets the winner of this weekend's fight for the belt. Then he said that Dos Santos would be next if he gets by Roy Nelson.

So, it sounds like there are some interesting fights coming up in the HW division. Man I am glad they got some depth there now.

no way!!!!!!!!!! he is fast as lighting and has better hands than carwin, he also has incredible stamina and has some sneaky leg kicks that brock wont be able to stop. he is gonna move in and pound brocks legs and be out before brock can get ahold of him. then when brocks legs are ruined he will start busting up his face with punches then go back to the legs. remember randy gave brock fits and even took him down and he is smaller than velasquez (granted until brock punched him) but cain is much faster!

i say cain by TKO round 3. mark my words brothers velasquez is a monster

everyone has counted brock out and yet he proved everyone wrong and will review the tape on cain. Brocks cardio is just as good as anyones NOW after his illness. Brocks cardio isnt a question and to say cain has better why? because of past previous fights so what this is a new brock a better brock. I'm not counting him out of any fight now. Sure we all have opinions but lets look at facts. brock has got better every time and he was only at 60%.Brock wasnt used to getting hit in the face but now he proved he can take the best punches and still come out of it.I'm taking brock on this fight

                Re: Cain Velasquez is next!

I like Cain and Dos Santos and think they both have good chances to win. As far as Cain goes, jipped hit it right on the button and seems to think exactly as I do about Cain with the exception of one thing....his chin.

Every since he fought Kongo, I have wondered about his chin. Kongo never knocked him out or anything, but it seemed that every time Kongo connected on the chin, he dropped Cain. It was like 3 times in a row. It was just a flash thing and Cain was immediately right back, but that just makes me wonder. Other than that, he is great every where else. He is VERY controlling with really good GnP on the ground, really good standup with great speed on his feet, good wrestling, and a lot of heart. It should be an interesting fight.
