Wait a minute now...his legacy isn't going anywhere. The guy lost 1 fight in 10 years!! He also didn't lost to a nobody... Werdum is a very dangerous fighter. Fedor lost in the first round because he has no fear and comes to fight every time and doesn't spend an entire round feeling someone out.
WIth that being said, I can't believe he made that mistake. When he jumped down in Werdum's guard, I knew that Werdum had a chance. If Fedor had been smart, he would have let Werdum up because there is no way he could have stood with Fedor. He went in for the kill too early.
Way to go Werdum!! He did something that many, many men couldn't do. Now I wish that the UFC would pick Fedor up. Fedor himself said a week or so ago that he would be interested in talking with the UFC. I don't care what anyone says, he would still shake up the UFC HW division.

I am tired of hearing everybody talk about Fedor as if he is some amateur fighter. He is one of the greatest fighters in MMA history, period! Wow, he finally lost a fight. Is he not allowed to do that? Do you have to be undefeated your entire career for UFC loyalists to think you're worthy of contending with anyone there? For crying out loud, I am a UFC fan too, but I recognize talent when I see it and Fedor has it.
Dan Henderson lost his first fight in Strike Force, so does that mean he isn't any good either? I mean heck, Strike Force guys are nothing compared to the UFC right? So Henderson's getting beat there should prove that he is a had been.

Fighters say that about GOD a lot man....you actually think that Fedor is "blaming" GOD for losing? Give me a break. You are reading WAYYYYY to much into that quote.
Which fights are you talking about that he almost lost but the other fighter made a mistake? And you know that you can also say that none of the UFC fighters can be the best in the World because they haven't fought everyone either. That goes both ways with Dana too....Fedor gets beat down because he wouldn't sign with the UFC and some people say that it was because of money. Well, Dana not co-promoting with M1 is also about money. Fedor is a part owner so why does he get that trash talk about him when he is doing the same as Dana?
And at first it wasn't about the money. The very first drawback was that Dana would not allow Fedor to fight in the Russian Sambo championships while being under a UFC contract. Fedor was not going to give that up when he didn't have to...

I understand that people are sick of hearing his name associated as the best, but he is an excellent fighter. The only reason he didn't fight UFC is because Dana wouldn't allow him to continue his Sambo matches, which are his passion. Also, he wanted a share in advertising rights because of his investment in his company. But I would like to see him prove himself in the UFC too Fuzo. It is the only way to finally prove his ability to all. But he has fought some of the best UFC heavyweights and beat them all. Why do people not give him credit for that. He beat Noguira, Silvia, Arlovski, and Cro Cop. To discredit these fighters is just not fair. Tim Silvia was the heavyweight champion and when Corture beat him nobody discredited Corture for beating him. Arlovski has always been a great fighter. Cro Cop still is a good fighter and was in his prime when Fedor fought him. That's just my 2 cents anyway.
As for his comment about God. Fedor is a very religious man and seeks spiritual guidance from his preacher all the time. I would not knock the man for that. There is nothing wrong with being religious, that is his choice.

Ill give him credit for all those wins except i think tim sylvia is a fat slob, but arlovski, cro cop and nog are quality. I def think he is a beast, and losing is gonna happen, its just the fact that it was in strikeforce and not to a big name UFC guy. I think its just that guys keep coming along with these terrific records from other organizations who are supposed to be unreal and once they get in the mix of the UFC they usually get a reality check, some more than others. I dont think anyone can doubt the guys talent or character, we all just want to know if hes just really really good ......or the best. And that will only be discovered in the UFC unfortunately.

Fedor is a joke! lol. Are you serious? Even Dan Henderson said he wanted to fight Fedor, which he believes is the best MMA fighter in the world. That was Dan Henderson's words, but I guess he doesn't know anything about MMA. And read up on why he didn't sign with the UFC. He is part owner of the organization and wanted a share in advertising, strictly business which is what Dana White is all about. Also, Dana did not want him fighting any Sambo tournaments which is Fedor's favorite style of fighting. He has his demands met at Strike Force and makes millions of dollars to boot so why should he leave. And why don't we condemn Chuck Liddell then for getting knocked out for a rookie move, or how about Rampage Jackson for losing against Rashad Evans. The bottom line is Fedor has always maintained that fighting is a business to him, he does not do it for any other reason than that. Thus, he goes where the money is and right now it is with Strike Force. But I hope he will eventually fight in the UFC just to prove himself. I have no idea why people are so strongly against giving credit to Fedor. I don't know why no matter what he does or who he beats it is not good enough. All those UFC heavyweights left the UFC for Affliction in their prime, and went straight for Fedor and lost. Donald Trump and the other owners of Affliction at the time were paying big money to get these guys and put them up against Fedor and they couldn't do it. But it seems once someone leaves the UFC by choice even, they are considered a has been and not worthy of proving Fedor can beat UFC talent. He didn't turn down any of them, he simply gave each one a chance to fight him. I don't even know why I am typing this right now. There's no use.
And name me 10 UFC fighters that could smash Fedor. Good luck. Maybe 3 have a good chance at it but no more than that. I can't even name 10 reputable heavyweights in the UFC. There are only about 5 or 6. The UFC hardly has a good heavyweight division, some of them in there are a joke. And most of the UFC fans prove that when they say Carwin hasn't fought anyone good and that Brock will beat him because he's more proven. But Carwin has fought more fights than Brock and never been past the first round. But if Carwin wins there's gonna be a bunch of people making every excuse in the world, just like when Evans beat Rampage and Franklin beat Liddell.

Fedor should be fighting at LHW...that is the biggest point to this. The guy is as small as Randy Couture but he hasn't been beaten by ANY HW until Werdum. I don't give a s*** if he was fighting the biggest hacks in the business....at that level, all of the fighters are dangerous and to go 10 years without losing is something that NO UFC HW wil EVER do. He beats 95% of the UFC HW or LHW division.

I read it all. It's called being religious. Man, this argument is really lame. The ONLY thing that you can find to critique him on is that quote. That is absolutely childish. Here are some KEY parts that you seem to leave out of your argument because they are the ones that make sense:
