    Jardine Gets Axed By The UFC

    He goes to strike force like everyone else nd gets paid


    Keith Jardine has officially been dropped by the UFC. The former TUF fighter and veteran of the octagon suffered a bloody majority decision loss to Matt “The Hammer” Hamill in the Fight of the Night bout in The Ultimate Fighter’s: Team Liddell vs. Team Ortiz Finale.

    After dropping four consecutive fights to Hamill, “Rampage” Jackson, Thiago Silva, and Ryan Bader, the UFC was left with a very tough decision regarding the future of “The Dean.”

    In a surprising display of emotion and foreshadowing, Dana White had the following comment about the release of Keith Jardine.

    "It sucks," [Dana] White said. "I have nothing but respect for him and I hope to see him back soon."

    What will Jardine need to do to “be back soon”?

      Well, Jardine hasn't done anything since Liddell. I have never thought he was that good and don't know how he got the wins that he got....but he seems like a good guy. I would say that he will have to win some fights in a lower level organization and get on some kind of streak to get back.

        never been overly impressed with him either. Didnt he get KOd in like 30 secs from the same guy that Kimbo beat? I cant think of his name right now..something anderson i think?

            imho, i like the guy, love to watch him fight, i think dana is thinking big picture here, at least i would be, he puts on lots and lots of fights now, he needs to think about long term damage to fighters, personally, i really think you're on a thin line when you've been in the sport ten years or so and you take 4 bad losses in a row, you can go back and look at professional boxers and this really is a cut off line, like no different than now what they are saying about football players, ie, once u cross 3-4 concussion in a few years youre really on really really thin ice

            personally he should hang em up, i also think forrest griffin who is my favorite is next, anderson silva and what's his face, fast black guy just was coach against rampage, knocked his f'n head silly, he really can't take many more shots imho

            frank mir is next, lesnar and carwin pounded his head silly silly silly

                i liked watching his herky jerky style. that is what gave him success but when folks figured it out he got beat

                he will rule KOTC or one of the japanese orgs
