  • Batista signed with Strikeforce

    He's a former six-time WWE heavyweight wrestling champion of the world -- but this weekend Batista finally confirmed that he's now fighting for real ... for an MMA company called Strikeforce.

    The 6'5", 290 pound behemoth was out in Hollywood this weekend -- where he told our camera guy about the move ... and hinted that he already has his first fight lined up.

    In MMA, Batista will...

    * Dominate
    * Get destroyed

    The 40-something-year-old recently left WWE after his contract expired ... and there had been rumors floating around that he wanted to get into Mixed Martial Arts fighting.
    I think this will be very short lived. At least Lesnar and Lashley were younger.

          If he can learn how to throw some kicks with those long legs and being 6'6 is a plus. His steroid use wont be a problem as strike force wont test him.If he can get cardio that will help. Everyone counted brock out and after brocks loss to frank everyone said oh just another wwf guy trying this,well brock made it so batista might also. Remember he might be 40 but when on gear and growth you feel alot better and younger.Lets see what happens. Why take someones dream away

            The biggest difference I see is that Brock had "real" wrestling in his background. Batista has no known training in anything other that what he has done in the WWE

              I would be surprised if he even had moderately decent cardio

                From what I have seen, he has been training at Xtreme Couture so I'm sure he will be as ready as he will ever be

                  batista will get aken down and owned. he may have wrestled but not like brock and even if he can strike look at what happened to mariuz with a real striker (even though tim isnt a top HW)

                  i think they will toss him some cans to up the ratings then feed him to the lions like bigfoot or arlovski
