Now see, this is the Brock I like. He isn't being all self-centered or whatever here. He is actually a calm and well spoken fighter here. I am glad to see that he is training seriously and really taking the sport seriously. If continues like this, he is going to be hard to stop.
And watch the difference in the ropes between Randy and Brock....

well we know brock is in shape and we know he is a true athlete and a strong athlete. lets see who's chin is going to take the test and we will see who will win that fight. But bringing randy in just means brock is taking this fight very seriously

BROCK IS THE BIGGEST STRONGEST UFC FIGHTER ON THE PAYROLL ISNT HE?
I would say he is. I can't think of anyone bigger or stronger. Carwin is huge and Brock is still bigger than him.

well as for the 5 fights brock has he seems very quick on the ground compared to carwin brock takes that advantage. On there feet well some will say because carwin has more fights he has more knock outs but per strength and punching power edge brock again. Now brock has gone past the first round in his fights so we know his stamina is preety good,as for carwin we dont know because he doesnt go past the first. So this fight will come down to again who's chin will take the best shot.I see brock maybe taking carwin down in this fight and out wrestling him imo.

Speed and strength goes to Brock. I am going to have to give Carwin the standup game just from the performances we have seen. Brock seemed a little gassed in the 2nd round of the Randy fight and I would think that Carwin will push him harder than Randy. Carwin trains in high altitude so his cardio has got to be pretty descent....so I will say that is a tie just because we haven't seen Carwin out of the first. I think it will come down to who lands the first power shot and who can enforce their wrestling more. I think Carwin has much more training on the ground game. It will be a good one to watch for sure.
Carwin says that he hopes that it does go a few rounds so that he can show people his cardio and they will quit asking him about it. When asked if he thought Brock could take one of his shots, he says that he doesn't think any man can take one if he lands it clean.

I don't understand why people underestimate Carwin. This man has a record of 12 and 0 with nobody making it out of the first round; 7 of his fights ended by ko or tko and the other 5 by submissions. Thus, it is safe to say he has very good wrestling skills and his NCAA wrestling record should speak to that. Also, I don't know how anyone can say that Brock has more punching power compared to Carwin, considering once again, Carwin has knocked out 7 fighters all in the first round, and one of them being Frank Mir. Then there are those who say Lesnar is bigger than Carwin, but there is merely an inch difference, Brock being 6'-3" and Carwin 6'-2", and both weighing in at 265lbs. I would even say Carwin is more defined than Brock but both are in good shape.
Where do you guys come up with some of this stuff. Heck, I like Brock too but to say he has more punching power and is bigger than Carwin is just plain not true. Perhaps Brock may look a little bigger, maybe that is because the majority of his size is in his upper body, but Carwin is a monster too. And again, the punching power simply is not proven. Brock has not KO'd anyone. Albeit, his punches do tend to do damage but Carwin's punches knock people out....end of story imo.

jsjs look who carwin has fought in those 12 fights. alot of just ok and below average guys. and as for ko's carwin has 7 more fights then brock so brock could have more if he had 7 more fights under his belt. And frank mir didnt get up right away after there 2nd fight he was out then woke up. randy got the shit knocked out of him and couldnt get up. brock went all 3 rounds with the cowboy so his stamina has been proven. as for him looking gassed in the fight with randy could of fooled me after he knocked randy silly in the 2nd. So both men have the power but as for the stronger faster quicker man its brock. you look at both physiques and look who looks in better shape its brock.brock has way more muscle then shane.. Plus lets not forget about being in shape. when brock was in the wwf and on steroids look how fast he was then and inshape I dont know if peole know how well conditioned you have to be to be in that rinf and run around and jump off shit and pick guys up iver there heads and slam them and get tossed over ropes. Some will say the wwf is fake well bull snot theres nothing fake about what he did in the ring. We all know being big like 260-270 with all that mucle slows ya down and when your even on steroids and bigger as brock was at 320-340 he still was super fast in the wwf when on steroids. Brock is naturaly gifted

I think Carwin has more punching power myself. If you look at the UFC page and go to the event, they have a pic of them side by side....Brock is the bigger fighter. And Randy won the first round of their fight.
With that being said, I think that Carwin will KO Brock. To me, Brock's chin has yet to really be tested....I know, I know that Mir caught him with the knee but it's not the same and Brock said he was seeing birds on that one. But it should be a good fight....especially since Randy is helping Brock now

Ok Fuzo, you made some good points and I do agree that Brock is an exceptional fighter with exceptional skills for his size. However, I still will go with Carwin for sheer knock out power though. Please keep in mind though, I am a fan of Brock and always have been. But I also like Carwin and have been very impressed with his game. As for the fight, I am going to have to go with Carwin winning by either knock out or submission. That's just my prediction and probably is not the common one.
Another interesting thing is that people say Carwin hasn't fought anyone good, yet he has fought and knocked out Gonzaga and Mir, both of whom are great fighters. The other 3 I'll give you are not well known but you have to start at the bottom (unlike Brock due to his celebrity status). This is the same argument I get from people when I say Fedor is the best HW in the world. People say he is not in the UFC where the talent is, but I say there is not much talent in the heavyweight division in the UFC. And now we are talking about Carwin not fighting anyone good even though he has fought 5 UFC fights.

The UFC HW division has more talent than any other organization....hence the reason Fedor doesn't want to come over.
