WHo has Brock knocked out? The answer to this question is all the answer i need. Every guy I have listed (it doesn't matter if it's 5 fights or 50 fights) has a ton of KOs and is "KNOWN" for KO power. Brock has nothing. If Brock has all this power that you speak of, why couldn't he KO Heath when HEath only had one damn eye? Why couldn't he KO Mir in two fights that they fought? Hell, in the 2nd fight, he had both Mir's hands tied up to where he couldn't even defend his face and Brock couldn't KO him. He just doesn't have it. It doesn't make him a bad fighter. It doesn't mean he won't continue to grow and become a good fighter. It just means he doesn't have the KO power that other guys do. Sorry. There is nothing that will convince me any different unless he KOs his next 2 or 3 opponents.


If you say that Randy Couture's legacy is shit then you know nothing about MMA. Randy is one of the best for a reason. My God, what is he now, 50? And still winning fights? Give me a break. Brock will NEVER EVER EVER do what Randy Couture has done. You are such a Brock groupie that it sways your thinking on every other fighter in the HW division.

Who cares who Randy beats now??? It doesn't wash away what he has done in the past. Of course he is old and not as competitive as he used to be. Most fighters would KILL to be in Randy's shape at that age. Everyone gets old and slower. Your boy Brock will do the same and he probably won't EVER have the career that Randy had. It's a job for Randy. I mean hell, why should he quit if the UFC keeps paying him money to do it? I would care if I was fighting Goldberg the commentator if I was making 100k.

that means money is worth more to him then the sport. people like randy and chuck and others should go out on top and retire instead of fighting shit people to hurt there legacy and if they keep losing that looks bad. hall of famers need to be remembered as winners not losing all the time when they should of hung it up. and again its sales that keeps making randy fight because he propbably gets a portion of the revenue and I dont think thats right. Micheal Jordan should of never played for the wizards because he was on a losing team and didnt do as good and people remember that. They remember losing him losing at the end of his carreer that was over instead of all the winning he did

So do you think that BJ should have quit before getting beaten by Frankie? What if Frankie beats him again? Does that kill his legacy? Who's to say that Randy won't win the LHW title? He has done crazier things. All of these guys care about the sport. But I don't care what kind of athlete you are, it all boils down to this is their job. My job is ATT and I love my job and care about it but in the end, its the money I need. Just like these fighters love the sport and care about the sport, they need the money.

Maybe Randy just like to fight. It's not his fault who they put in front of him. Was he supposed to come straight out of the HW division and get a title shot? Dana is making him work his way up the ladder. As far as Toney goes, Dana is trying to make an example out of him because he is a boxer. Otherwise he would have let Kimbo fight him, because Toney has called Kimbo out in the past. But there is too big of a chance that Toney would KO Kimbo and then the boxing community would get on a high horse saying that a boxer came over and won in the UFC. With Toney fighting Randy, Dana is almost guaranteed a win with Randy because obviously Toney won't be able to stop a takedown or stop Randy's GnP. It's a business overall, and Dana is doing a smart thing.

Randy will not lose to a washed up boxer that has 0 training in MMA. Deals are made. Dana probably told Randy that if he would fight Toney, then he will let him fight for the title or something. Once again, it is a business.


We could go round and round about this all day. As long as Randy is still winning, he should fight. When you start losing to everybody...then you should quit. His only two losses since 2006 were in the HW division where he is not even supposed to be fighting anyway. I mean the guy walks around at 205 or so and he was fighting in the HW division at almost 50 years old!!!! He drops to 205 and has won both his fights. What more do you want from the guy?

i disagree...boxers are in way better shape, and take the gloves off a boxer and it would be lights out before a takedown ever happened..too fast and too much punching power

I disagree. Boxers are not necessarily in way better shape. They are fast as far as punching quickness but not all around quickness. Add that with a well trained MMA fighter and put them in a cage and it would be a problem for the boxer. I would bet on Anderson Silva in a MMA match against any boxer that would be in his weight class.

i think most champ caliber boxers would ko a mma fighter very quick...or anyone for that matter, with the small gloves....you imagine mike tyson hitting someone with no gloves..he would kill sumthing (in his prime)
