Check out this video. It is kind of a compilation of interviews, but in the beginning he says that GSP nor BJ Penn really impresses him. It's kind of contradicting....I don't know. What do you think?

He doesnt make sense at all. But who knows why he says this and then says that. But take a look at his last 5 fights. the only contender was dan henderson who won the first round then got choked out. but the other 4 werent contenders. then go back to the last 10 and just add franklin in there. And if that numb nuts wouldnt of got stuck in those holds he probably could of done better. but last 10 fighters only 2 are contenders,dan and rich.

I have to disagree with that. He didn't look like one because Anderson made him look that bad. He looked like the same old Forrest.

James Irvin (LHW)--Shouldn't be a pushover for a lower weight class
Dan Henderson--Contender
Rich Franklin--Contender
Nate Marquardt--Contender

Chris Leben--Tough at the time plus it was his debut.
I won't go any further because that was his UFC debut.
Now granted these guys may not all be championship material, but they are by now means lower level fighters either. He beat Franklin twice! That is a feat in itself. He beat Henderson. Nate is a hell of a fighter. On the ground, Lutter is as good as anyone. Leben is known for his chin and banging so that shows Anderson's power.
People say that Anderson hasn't fought that many top guys, but I personally think that is BS and that Anderson is so good that he makes good guys look bad. He would beat GSP the same way. He will beat Maia the same way. He will beat Sonnen the same way. And I personally think he is one of the very few that could take Fedor. I just don't think he gets all of the credit he deserves from the fans. I think they are just tired of seeing him dismantle everyone in his path.

The only person on that list that hasn't done well at one time or another is Lutter.

then you would also have to say that Franklin wasnt a contender either because Silva destroyed him even worse....twice
Forest was a joke and the whole world saw him get *****ed slapped. Forset went down with a fade away jab. silva was throwing while moving back wards but you want to say rich got beat worse then forest. atleast rich made it threw the 2nd round with silva the 2nd fight.Silva toyed with forest like a little kid wanting to help him up.And then you want to say forest is still a contender with the tito fight. tito's history. they gave forest that fight to try and redeam himself but it still went 3 rounds and a decision.Oh and ok I forgot about nate so 3.

There was a lot more on Anderson's fade away jab than people make it out to be. If you look at Anderson's face when he threw that, he was tensed up and put some power into that shot. And it was right on the button. Not to mention that he already had Forest dazed before that shot landed. I have seen lesser shots end a fight.

You can't just judge him by his last 10 fighters either. He was doing the same thing in Pride and King of the Cage. It's not like Anderson just all of the sudden started beating people. He was beating guys like this when half the UFC fighters were just getting started.

Why is he dumb? I think he is smarter than most people think. Anderson Silva can understand and talk english much better than he lets on. He doesn't need Soares to interpret....he just uses him to make him sound more humble than he really is.
