Your just another hater of a strong talented fighter thats all and thats why you slander brock. tnz says mir is the more talented one but brock won the 2nd fight and busted mir up in the first fight and made a rookie mistake if mir is that good how come mirs face in the first fight looked awful . And if the ref didnt jump in brock would of won. If you cant see that or understand then your ignorant. Thats why Mir is that mad because he knows he would of got beat if the ref didnt step in friggin everyone knows that but all you haters dont have the balls to say it.But deep down you do know it.

Mir is one of the most phenomenal MMA figters ever. I watch MMA daily and am no pro but if Mir has been focused on his training to fight Lesner....then he can cripple the big boy.

If you honestly think that Brock is a more well rounded "Martial artist" than Mir, then you truly know nothing about MMA.

I didn't stick my foot in my mouth anywhere. Brock did just lay on Mir, but he won. You don't see me crying about him winning still, do you? Everyone wants to say, "Rookie mistake this and rookie mistake that," everyone makes mistakes. Hell you could say that Mir made the mistake of allowing Brock to take him down. Hindsight is always 20/20/

A win is a win,and theres no where in this thread that I said brock is a more well rounded fighter the mir you said that. Big difference for a fighter who's olny had a few fights that makes him a rookie not a veteran of the sport.Like my post said you hate brock your words confirm that so my point is made correct about you.Oh and I never said rogers was a bum you said that not me.If you cant accept that brock after a few fights made a rookie mistake then your sadly mistaken dude. How long has frank been fighting in the UFC and was once the champ and got beat by a rookie. You and others cant accept that at all. Your all pissed because dana gave him the shot and he won after only a few fights and he dominated every fight. Knocked out the great randy and the great rank mir.Destroyed hearing badly. Sure brock will lose eventualy but he's still a rookie just wait until he's mastered a black belt in BJJ or something with his quicknes and strength yeah might be unstoppable

I didn't lose anything. A win IS a win. Have you ever seen any fighters scorecard say, "20 wins, 2 losses but one loss was because the guy layed on top of him?" I can critique any fight or any fighter in any fashion I see fit...that doesn't take away whether or not the fighter won or not.

Let's use BJ and GSP. You seem to think the vaseline applied to GSP is why he won. I am one of the biggest BJ fans there are and I agree that vaseline can change the outcome, but I don't think it did in that fight. I can say anything I want about GSP, but the bottom line is he was too much for BJ that night, vaseline or not.

Rashad/Liddell....Everyone says Rashad got lucky. The bottom line is Rashad beat Chuck to the punch and KO'd him. He won. No matter how the fight was going, he won.

GSP/Serra....Everyone said Serra got lucky...bottom line, he KO'd GSP

Brock/Mir first fight....Everyone says Mir got lucky and that Brock made a rookie mistake. If that's the case, then why doesn't every fighter that stands over a BJJ guy get submitted by leg lock? ...Bottom line Mir won.

Dana gave him a shot to use his name and that is it. Not because he was that good. He didn't dominate the Randy fight. Randy probably won the first round. He didn't dominate the first Mir fight or he would have won. Herring is a gatekeeper. Who hasn't beat Herring? You do realize that it takes around 6 years to become a BJJ Black belt, right? I agree, that if he can somehow obtain a "true" black belt in BJJ, then yeah, he will probably be unstoppable. He also needs to get some better standup.

The one thing you forget, is we have yet to see someone really test Brock's chin. Just because you are big, muscled up, strong, quick, a good wrestler, doesn't mean that you like being hit or can take a big shot from a true HW puncher. I am stil waiting to see how he does when he gets in trouble. Those are two qualities that will tell us how good he will be. He has yet to be in a situation that takes patience and invokes the feeling of panic. If he can weather those situations, then he can make it far.

You and others just dont want to realize that mir won by the ref stopping the fight. Brock was grounding and pounding mir and when that happens the fighter tries to twist and turn to avoid getting hit and thats what mir was doing and just like every other fighter mostly that is on top ground and pounding someone that they get tagged in the back of the head then when mir couldnt defend himself that **** sucker ref stepped in. common sense that you and others just wont admit. ASfter the fight was stopped they started up again brock toook mirs silly ass down again and got caught by a rookie mistake, A ROOKKIE with only a few fights. Well brock sure didnt make a rookie mistake again in the 2nd fight.

You and others don't want to admit that he just got beat. That is an excuse. I have seen many veteran fighters make mistakes that could be called rookie mistakes. Brock got caught...plain and simple. He even said himself that they had worked defense of that leg lock 1000s of times in practice, but he couldn't get out when it was applied by Mir. Brock hit Mir in the back of the head multiple times. He was warned multiple times before it was stood up. The one thing brock fans don't want to bring up is the fact that Mir got screwed when it was stood up too....he pulled up for an armbar and had the arm and was about to extend his legs when the ref stopped it.....where is that little tidbit in your analysis? It's not because your analysis is one-sided biased toward Brock.

You are right, he didn't make a rookie mistake in the second fight. But anyone can say that Mir did....Mir allowed Brock to control his wrists....rookie mistake right there. I learned that in my first week of BJJ. So I guess it works both ways.

Watch the fight again, he was getting the arm bar. Hell, it slowed it in slow motion 1000 times before their second fight. You need to watch the pre-fight hype for their second fight and watch Mir pick the fight apart. You will see the truth.

All mir did in his pre fight talk was cry like a baby and say what he's going to do and this and that but oops he couldnt do shit to brock.And as far as putting brock like a god you say that not me.
