always sems to be missing the point. fat man sat on kimbo and won thats it. I never said he was a good HW. I said that he was a good BJJ practicioner and the ex-IFL champion. As a matter of fact, I said that he would not do well in the UFC....and neither will Kimbo. You need to go watch some of his fights. If the guy had no skill, he wouldn't be on the show. He did beat the crap out of Kimbo...are you retarded? Does every fight have to have blood and KO's for you to think that someone didn't get the crap beat out of him? Had it went to a decision, it would have been unanimous in any and every organization and in any PPV event. I have watched more boring fights on a PPV before. Roy never threw a right hand man....that right there should tell you that he wasn't even trying. He has the most talent and experience of any HW on the show. Now, Fuzo, this doesn't mean that I think he is the next big thing, this just means that I think the majority of the guys on the show really suck. He may not be the most athletic or well built or have the most KO power, but he has a higher skill level than anyone on the show except maybe Wes Sims.

As far as the chiseled comment, that because all I hear is how fat Roy is. Who gives a shit what the guy looks like. He won. Tank Abbott is famous as hell and he is fat....and doesn't fight that much better. Timmay was a fat slob and he held the belt for a long time.

I don't give a shit if the guy can't punch through a wet paper towel, if he is a black belt in BJJ, he has skills. I can't argue with you on this because you are clueless about BJJ unless it's a rear naked choke or leg lock. So I'm done with this. Bottom line, Kimbo lost to a half ass fighter.

You are clueless with some of the comments you have made in this argument, yes. It's not my fault that you made sensible comments about BJ and hater comments about Roy. You keep saying that I am missing the point, but the point is Roy won. I don't care if Roy fell asleep while on top of him in this fight, Kimbo got smoked plain and simple. Roy took Kimbo's biggest shot and didn't go down, and then he put him in a position that he didn't know how to get out of. The only argument is Roy is fat and hits like a girl. Hell even Kimbo said that Roy suckered him into coming in for the kill.

I can guarantee you that if Roy would have had Royce Gracie in that position, he would have gotten out. And Royce is much smaller than Kimbo. Hell, Roy was on top of Mir in the same spot and Mir got out. I guess the belly didn't bother them.

The only reason Dana said what he said is because he has invested a lot in Kimbo and thought Kimbo would steal the show and that didn't happen. Dana's plan backfired and it made him mad. Hell, it even upset the producer of the show. If you don't think they are showing favoritism to Kimbo, you are crazy.

Look, I don't like Roy. I don't like his style, I don't like his attitude, I don't like his childish antics, and I don't think he will get anywhere near the top 10 guys in HW now, but I give credit where credit is due and he doesn't suck

yeah fighters that have been training mma for 10yrs plus and have a boat load of expereince and knowledge sure could get out,maybe,but kimbo doesnt have alot of expereince or knowledge. And roys fat ass just sat on him.Roy made himself look so bad he couldnt finish a fight but to sit his fat ass on kimbo.And you think thats a win,no thats a loss for roy and made him look bad in others eyes,especialy the owner of the ufc.

Maybe ratings but thats it. What did you think kimbo would win it all,lol and steal the show. No way. And anyone would know putting royce gracie in with roy gracie would win.And I have the understanding and knowlege of fighters and know when a fighter sucks as roy does

Am I losing my mind, or did Roy not finish the fight? I'm sorry Fuzo, that was a win no matter how you look at it. It may have been the worst fight in MMA history, but Roy won it. I didn't say that Kimbo would steal the show, I said Dana thought he would. Why else do you think they stuck a bunch of no talent hacks on the show? There is only two guys other than Kimbo on the show that have a clue. The NFL guys are trying to jump on the money train just like Brock did.

Are you blond? You have completely missed every point that I have made. You are trying to turn my words around against me because you have NO argument.


Here are the undeniable (unless you are freaking insane) facts:

1) Kimbo sucks
2) Roy is no where near ready for the UFC

Roy does suck, but he is probably the most talented in the house. Here is a quote from Cagewriter just so you don't think I am the only one that thinks this:

it was lay on him for 1.5 rounds. and that's how heavyweights fight... especially amateur or out of shape heavy weights.... and he didn't just lay on him he put him in a crucifix passed his non-existent guard and punched him 63 times in the head. .... he has a black belt in Gracie BJJ... he has skill... he was former IFL champion... can we put this to rest. if anyone fought like a little girl it was kimbo on his back getting pinned because he is a 1 dimensional fighters and nelson was rounded enough to dodge his punches and take him down. You are blind...did Kimbo fall into that Crucifix? No, Roy had to use BJJ (surpise, surpirse) to get into that position. But it was a rear naked choke so I can see how you missed that. Didn't do anything with it? He had many, many unanswered punches to the head of Kimbo, that won him the fight. So, he did something with it. He obviously didn't just lay on Kimbo because believe you and me, Herb Dean would have stood them up quickly if Roy had just been laying there....he is known for that.

Okay, Kimbo was the face of Strikeforce and has been training in MMA (including BJJ) for over 2 years now....he is not considered an amateur any more. Lame excuse.

Yes, Kimbo had his entire entourage on the show....you can see them there when the fight is going on. And no, no one is allowed at the house and no contact is allowed to outside parties...it's the rules. These rules are to keep any results from leaking before the airing of the show.

Also, there is a new rumor going around that Roy was told to cause as little damage as possible to Kimbo in case another fighter got hurt, so Kimbo could come back in the event he lost to Roy. I will wait until I hear the rest of the story on this before linking anything.

And as far as "I believe everything I read in the media", unless you can talk with the contestants yourself, the interviews with the media is all any of us have to go by.

Of course Rashad is going to say that he has 2 or 3 guys on his team that he thinks will win.....2 of those guys train with him and Greg Jackson, what is he supposed to say...that they have no chance?

I totally agree with you here and I think that is why so many people are looking for someone to blame here. It was hyped as the biggest fight in TUF history and ended up being one of the worst.
