Not much but he speaks...looks like he got married. That could be the biggest reason no one has heard from him.
Forrest Griffin is coming off what color-commentator Joe Rogan called "an embarrassing knockout" in the opening minutes of the main event at UFC 101. Griffin was knocked unconscious at the hands of current UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva. Since the knockout, Griffin has virtually disappeared in the eyes of many fans but as we first reported he is still training and was even married last week. MMA30.com catches up with Griffin about his training post UFC 101. "Like I said, I'm not even training," Griffin joked. "I mean I have been doing some stair master and it does keep my buns tight. I don't think it's going to help me win any fights (laughs). I'm an excellent jogger by the way. Been doing some jogging."
Immediately after suffering the knockout, Griffin jogged out of the Octagon and into the locker room. MMA30.com asked Griffin what the quick exit was all about and why he didn't stay to talk about his performance.
"There's no reason," Griffin said. "That's stupid. Anytime I lose a fight, that's what I'm doing from now on. I'm just going to jump over the cage from now on. There's nothing to say, it's not about talking. I thought it was a fighting sport. I'm tired of talking to people. I don't know, man, it gets old. It's just people putting hopes and dreams on you; telling you they put money on you and I'm their kid's idol. I don't want to hear that [expletive]. Get Tom Brady on your kid's wall. I'm not, ya know... I'm me. Ya gotta understand, I don't generally like myself. It really confuses me when people genuinely like me."
