A source within the UFC has confirmed to Inside Fights that BJ Penn will likely defend his lightweight title against Diego Sanchez in the main event of UFC 105.

first round diego 2nd round guida thrid round who knows. If diego couldnt take out guida how does he think he can take out bj with a rock solid chin.Guida isnt the caliber fighter bj is. I'm still going with Bj on this. I hope diego comes out like he did with guida because bj will knock him on his ass with his power.Diego couldnt finish guida in the first round.

I'm far from a fan of BJ, but the fact is nobody at 155 can beat him. And if he trains like he did against Florian, nobody can even compete with him. It's like Anderson at 185, pure domination.

Weather the storm and then beat his a**! That is basically all you have to do with Diego. He comes out very fast and very strong, but it doesn't last long. He is average after the first round.

well he has dominated his last 4 fights. 3 submissions 1 knock out could not finish that to me sounds like dominating at 155. typical you though wont ever give props when there do

I will agree that nobody dominates like Silva does, and I don't know that anyone ever will. But BJ dominates 155 like Anderson does 185, nobody in their divisions can touch them.
Where Anderson is way more impressive, is the fact that he could probably take on everyone in 205 and likely could beat 80% of the heavyweights.
There are guys that can beat Penn at 155, but I'm not even gona get this conversation started.. NO ONE can beat Silva at 185, and probably not likely at 205 either.

I'll stop there b/c the rest of the division can't even get past half of these guys. I don't think anyone in 155 even has a punchers chance against BJ at this time. BJ has many haters, and I am on top of that list, but my hate doesn't cloud reality.
