not impressive in itself? Not to mention he has fought all of the top lightweights and only lost once... and the reason he lost that fight was because a massive cut he put on Sherk was bleeding into Florians face throwing off his game..

you have to be kidding that the last 6 fighters florian fought were the top contenders. stevenson had lost what 3 OUT OF 5 SINCE THE LOST TO BJ AND YOU WANT TO SAY THE TOP CONTENDERS DUDE.And huerta fought once in 2008. Okay. Huerta was HUGELY over rated...ask any true MMA follower. He not a top fighter. The cut isn't what got Florian beat in the Sherk fight. The fact that Florian had absolutely NOTHING for Sherk is the reason he lost that fight. That fight ends the same way today. The rest of the list we have been through already. The best guy he fought was Stevenson and that was with Joe coming off a devastating loss to BJ. I think Joe is over rated too...he has gotten easy to beat now.

That is the thing with Florian. How many fights has he won by cutting the other guy? He looks for that elbow to cut people. He is a trashy fighter, with a trashy record, and doesn't deserve to be a top contender in my mind. He will get a huge wake up call this weekend if he thinks he is going to walk through BJ....he better hope that he can outscore BJ because that is the absolutely only way he could win this fight.

It's easy to be right when you pick the the guy that is supposed to win. I can't get over how so many of the GSP fans (I am a fan too) really think that it was such a big deal to beat BJ. GSP was SUPPOSED to beat BJ. He was twice the size with the same skillset. All things being equal, the bigger guy will win the majority of the time. If BJ had beaten GSP, that would have killed everything about the WW weight class and GSPs record.

ken-flo is good but i think BJ has something real for his ass. Its gonna be a good bout. I think bj was stupid bumping up a weight class to fight gsp anyway. I know ken flo couldnt do what nj did against gsp/
