Brock did a good job in the fight.....but


He is the biggest DOUCHE i have ever seen! I have completely lost respect for the HW division. The worst thing for the sport of MMA was the fact that Brock Lesnar won tonight. While the guy did a good job winning the fight and controlling Mir, he has no respect for the sport. I was actually starting to like the guy until post fight....he is a piece of S****!!!!

I am not saying anything about his skill at all. He has great potential as a fighter...but as a representation about what MMA is really about, he is an idiot! The bottom line is he disrespected the crowd and the sponsors and made the UFC look bad in the sponsors eyes.

I can guarantee you this, Dana White will end up having a talk with about what was said. If he doesn't tone it down, it won't matter anyway....the UFC will push him out. Remember Nick Diaz? And that guy actually had alot of fans.

Don't get me wrong here guys. I am not bitter in any way about the win. Brock did a fantastic job and probably looked more like a fighter than he ever has before, but he is digging a big hole with his interviews.

The only reason it is good for the HW division is because it adds another contender and he brought some fans from WWE. But IMO he is also painting the wrong picture for MMA.

I think Fedor, Carwin, Randy, and Josh Barnett have good shots at beating him. Mir will end up fighting him again too....I mean they are 1-1

The 32-year-old Lesnar claimed he was headed out to drink a Coors Light because Bud Light would not pay him any money. One of the UFC’s highest-paid fighters, he made $450,000 in disclosed pay for his TKO victory against hall of famer Randy Couture at UFC 91 in November.

“I was blown away,” White said. “I don’t think in the history of the UFC we’ve had anybody do that. It’s not who we are, and, to be honest, it’s not who he is. You hang with these guys personally, and you get to know them. If he was a dick, I’d tell you right now this guy is a psycho and I don’t know what I’m going to do with him. He’s not. He’s a smart guy. The sponsorship thing was the craziest thing I’ve ever heard in my life.”

Lesnar’s antics drudged up memories of his days as a World Wrestling Entertainment superstar, when showboating and pushing the envelope of taste were encouraged and profitable. White claimed he confronted the apologetic champion in his dressing room after he left the Octagon.

“Brock went so far over the top, I can’t even put it into words,” White said. “WWE -- that’s what it is. We had a talk. We talked like men, and he said he was sorry. He said, ‘I’m embarrassed by what I said.’ I take his word for it this time.”

I have no respect for Lesner.....I used to kinda like the guy.

Mir will get another shot and have a different strategy.

The UFC Hierarchy was not pleased with his immature antics.

I think they call it sportsmanship...........being a gracious loser and an even more gracious winner. I tell the cage fighters i train that if i ever see tham acting like retards dont even come back to the gym. On the amateur and lo-pro level fights i see, this child-like behavior is common and sickening,alot of it is encouraged for ratings and getting noticed.

Ok davie why do you want him to lose. He is a gigantic strong fast gifted man that got the heavy weight championship belt only after 4 fights.Is it that you didnt like him because he was in the wwf-wwe.Because he was great as a wwf guy also. he's a champion wrestler in real life.The guy is a threat and will only continue to get better.
