    UFC 102: COUTURE VS. NOGUEIRA





    Las Vegas, NV (USA) – The Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®) is headed to Portland for the first time ever and it’s bringing a couple of true heavyweight heroes. Mixed martial arts legends and former UFC champions Randy “The Natural” Couture and Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira will face off for the first time in their storied careers at UFC 102: COUTURE vs. NOGUEIRA, live from Portland, Oregon’s Rose Garden on Saturday, August 29, 2009.

            randy will have a good game plan but nog is tough. its a toss up

              I think nog will do the same as brock did and catch him with a punch or kick or even a submission. but then again randy has proved in the pst he's good with heavier fighters,I dont know

                    Here is my thoughts on it.
                    -Randy always comes in with the best gameplan of anyone in the UFC.
                    -Nog is not that much bigger than Randy compared to the other HWs that he has fought.
                    -Nog has good BJJ but Randy competed in a BJJ grappling match with Jacare and it ended in a draw. I can't see Nog getting Randy in a submission that he couldn't defend.
                    -Nog got picked apart on his feet by Mir and Randy has very good standup and he used to be a boxer.
                    -Nog has been in some wars and has shown that he can take a lot of damage without being finished.

                    With all of the being said I have no clue who will win because this one can go either way...quickly.

                    But the one thing I have learned through all my years of MMA is this: Never bet against Captain America!! I am picking Randy,
