THEN LETS SEE IF THERES A CARDIO ISSUE A TAKE DOWN ISSUE THEN IF THERE IS THEN I WILL THEN REALIZE GSP IS A BETTER FIGHT ALL AROUND. BUT GSP IS ONLY BETTER AT 170 THEN PENN IS.THAT DOES NOT MAKE HIM THE BEST POUND FOR POUND ALL AROUND FIGHTER.ONLY AT 170. HAVE GSP GO UP TO 185 AND FIGHT FRANKLIN OR HENDERSON . there is no way GSP could make it dow to fight at 155. he walks around at 190# and diets down to 180-185# before cutting to 170#

he is though more likely to go up and fight silva in UFC 100.

BJ just got his ass beat by a better fighter. there were no cardio issues in the first or second round and BJ was ineffective. I dont think he landed anything solid and never had GSP in any kind of trouble.

I lost respect for BJ. He said he wanted to fight to the death then HE quit.

what is wrong with everyone. bj had to gain weight which wasnt all muscle but fat.Its ok for bj to go up in weight to fight gsp so why isnt it ok for gsp to go down at fight bj. double standard there. its ok for the goose but not the gander.and jipped fight to the death we as a human dont know how are bodies are going to respond it was his brother that called it it wasnt bj that said he's done.. why didnt bj sit between rounds and get some rest. bj can train great at 170 in the ring but maybe not in a actual 5 round fight.Everyone wants to beat up on bj because he lost, thats because of the media hype. everyone loses.People have to get it in there heads that bj is a 155 fighter and the best at all time at that weight.as for the payday bj's family is rich so it wasnt money.And maybe it is that bj cant fight at 170 his body just doesnt respond well to fighting at that weight now in his life at his age..better fighter my ass maybe at 170 not at 155 though. have gsp come down then fight him at 155 then lets see then i'llsay gsp is the better fighter if he wins. only thing he proved was a better fighter at 170 thats it. GSP WALKS AROUND AT 185...FOR HIM TO LOSE 30 POUNDS TO FIGHT WOULD ALMOST MAKE HIM SICKLY LOOKING. HES RIPPED UP AT 170. I DONT THINK HE COULD LOSE THAT MUCH WEIGHT AND BE ABLE TO DO IT.

yeah he should of stayed at 155 but HE IS THAT GOOD.everyone wants to go on the gang up and bash bang wagon because he lost.something contributed to him losing. if it was not training right like the tv show showed or he just cant fight at that weight it was something because look at his other fights and he was that good. I rest my case. And i'm not saying all this because I like him i'm saying this because something he didnt do to train made him lose.and o2 and for everyone else why is it ok for bj to go up and fight gsp but gsp cant go down and fight bj. you can train to lose weight and still fight.

fuzo remember BJ fought at 170 many times. he did not have to cut weight for this fight.

it had nothing to do with conditioning. he beat the crap out of GSP the first fight for 10 minutes. GSP owned BJ from the first second until BJ quit.

GSP just physically cant get down to 155#. BJ came in at 168# without cutting weight. this is about where he is normally

I don't think BJ gassed. TO me, it didn't look like the BJ of old. He didn't even look like he wanted to be in there. I mean come on, he threw 3 or 4 jabs...that is his money punch. He didn't come out aggressive like he always does. GSP beat his ass no doubt, but something wasn't right with BJ. He wasn't the same as usual



Has everyone heard that GSPs camp in is trouble for applying vaseline to his back between rounds? This is no joke. The Athletic commission are the ones that caught them and Dana WHite witnessed the commission go to GSPs corner and flip out and took their vaseline from them If BJs camp really pushes this, the fight could be changed to a no contest!!

BJ wouldn't want that because they would have to fight again or he would look like a biotch and he would get smashed even worse. GSP didn't really even want to fight BJ, BJ is the one who wanted to hold both titles. As far as GSP going to 155 thats just retarded. It couldn't be done, and even so it would mess him up for a long time, he would have to lose like 15lbs of muscle. Even though you guys refuse to see it, GSP has nothing left to prove and fighting BJ again is dumb at any weight class. Maybe in like 15yrs they can do it for a publicity stunt. GSP is in his prime, he needs to fight TOP conteders in his class and then maybe go for a fight with Silva. If you guys actually like this sport then give credit where its due and enjoy the top fighters performances or just go and watch BJs highlight reel of him beating up on the best of the best like Joe "daddy" Stevenson or fly weight Pulver. Oh yea, why doesn't BJ drop weight and fight Jens Pulver in Pulvers natural 145? That would actually be a good fight for a rubber match.

This might be the dumbest thread on FG right now... How many times does GSP have to beat BJ before everyone gives the man some damn respect. BJ went up in weight because he wanted to, not because GSP wanted him to. It was BJ's decision to change weight and there is no reason why GSP should have to go down (or physically could go down) just to fight BJ when there are way better fighters in 170 who deserve a chance. I really don't think some of you even watched the fight with the shit ya'll say.

GSP won the fight outright. No one is disputing that. It is better for the UFC that BJ lost. BJ didn't have anything to lose. He was the under dog. He goes back to his belt at 155 and GSP keeps his belt at 170. And yes, GSP did want to fight BJ. He said that last year when they were supposed to fight the first time.

Explain to me what makes you think that some of us didn't watch the fight? What comments are you referring to?

As for BJ going and fighting Pulver at 145....are you nuts? BJ would smash Pulver to pieces man!!! Give me a break. Whether you like it or not, BJ is still top 4 P4P in the world.

Also BJ did have something to lose; if he had won everyone would have said that he was the undisputed P4P king. They should not fight if they don't have something to gain or lose, what would be the point?

I still like BJ as a fighter but I'm not so sure that he is top 4 P4P in the world. Not with that weak azz stuff he brought last night. Their are still guys who are undefeated and have fought good fighters like Machida and Evans plus you have guys like Fedor, Silva and GSP.
